As I have said before though I don’t think Hillary will run in 2016 unless there is a really weak field of Democrats and there is a draft Hillary movement.

I don’t think she will run because of age and the 8 years alternating party cycle we have had for the Presidency.

  • 1966

    doug z where are you?

  • Mark2

    @SP

I’m just glad you guys are evolving on the immigration issue, that’s all that matters.

  • Anthony Parello (AP076)

If an affair is the reason he resigned that is unfortunate. He has served his county well and honorably and where he puts his unit in his free time is between he, his mistress and his wife and does not meet any threshold for resignation.

Let the right wing whack job conspiracy theories begin.

We are going to find out what happened in Libya!!!!

@AP “I don’t think she will run because of age and the 8 years alternating party cycle we have had for the Presidency.”

That 8 year cycle is why I think she will run. That’s the Democrat’s best hope of retaining the White House.

  • Anthony Parello (AP076)

    See above ^^^^^

  • Sicilian Papa

David P. will tell the truth.

I take him at his word but he is free to speak now!

He resigned because of an affair. Okay I take him at his word.

He is now free to speak without having to defend anyone!

  • Mark2

Fox News, Karl Rove, and Dick Morris are breathing a sigh of relief now that the media spotlight will be taken off of them and onto Petraus.

  • Anthony Parello (AP076)

Good point M2 but the last modern run was 2012 with the Reagan (or Reagen is you are SP) Bush years. I guess it is possible. G-d forbid something were to happen to VP Biden but in that case if she was appointed VP to finish the term the the Obama to Clinton transition would be easier.

I just think with Bill Clinton, Bush II, and Obama we have only elected Presidents (for their first terms) between the ages of 48-54. It seems to have become a young man’s game. That having been said the baby boomers are aging and Hillary is a baby boomer.

David P. will testify and tell the truth. I think we will get a better understanding of what happened on Sept. 11, 2012 in Libya.

I like him and wish him well. I look forward to hearing what he has to say.

It’s different when we’re talking about Intelligence and any remote chance that sensitive material could be compromised via blackmail. One single skeleton in the closet is a no-no, even as it’s now out.

  • RedBarSoup

The right are already blaming the whole David P. on Obama, saying he got “rid” of him so he can’t talk about Benghzai. What a bunch of crazies.
