Update: in the preliminary ratings, Glee averaged a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating.

Glee returns tonight from a month-long hiatus with a Grease-inspired episode that will bring back some old cast members and has been heavily promoted. Though the current season premiered to a decent 3.1 adults 18-49 rating, its has been falling pretty steadily every week, ultimately dropping to a 2.4 at its lowest point before hitting a slight rebound for its last episode (which scored a 2.6). Will Glee experience a much-needed boost tonight, or is it headed for a new low? Cast your vote and then let us know why in the comments!

    2.5 at best.

This week also marks the return of Grey’s Anatomy and the last X Factor results show was a season low 2.3…Could be very low for Glee.

  • james

It will grow, as Glee is on the verge of milestone episodes that will show us more sides of Artie, Kurt, and Marley, and Rachel, including Quinn, Puck, Mike and Tina

  • james

    2.5 – 2.8 hoping

New low. Glee can’t beat Grays, because for people who want to spend an hour being emotionally manipulated by their television…well, it’s like Everclear versus 3.2 lite beer here, honestly.

  • Tony ^_^

I want to be optimistic and say it do well (I stopped watching this season but “Glee” still has many fans) but I say it go either way…

Nope, The Glee era is done I’m afraid.

  • Kevin Somerhalder

Season 4 has been so incredible so far, I really expect the next episode to pull at least a 2.8 rating.

  • Desperate Houseboy

Hope it does it wasn’t that good last season bu this season has been great so far.

Glee does have it’s loyal fans and I can see it lasting till a sixth season. But the shows glory days are long gone. The show died for me after season two. However it is a heavily promoted episode and tribute episodes usually do well. I will say it gets a 2.8 at most. But keep in mind it is going up against a returning Grey’s Anatomy that I have seen a decent amount of promotion for or that could be just me. And a well promoted Grey’s Anatomy means good ratings. I think GA will get a 3.5 at least. So that could affect Glee a little. Also the X Factor has been scoring low numbers ????. Which could also affect Glee. We will see soon enough.

I don’t see it hitting a new low but I can’t see it having much growth either. 2.5-2.6 which is probably enough to grow out of The X Factor right?

I think it has been a lot better than S3 so far, season 5 should probably be the last though but who knows, Fox will need hits.

    X Factor: 2.6
    Glee: 2.4

The X Factor isn’t exactly a ratings powerhouse so Glee has only a so-so lead in.

Personally, I’m tired of the show. They finally won nationals last season and Sue is mostly declawed now so there isn’t a lot driving it like it used to. Plus, after this dissapointing election I have no interest in the show’s social politics being shoved down my throat.

I’m skipping it for Person Of Interest.

    My hopes: below 2.0
I watch the show on a regular basis, altough I hate it. I just hope they get rid of Rachel and Kurt. Watching a show I love crashing and burning is so awesome! I never thought I would. :D

    if there’s a god, it’d be 0.0. but there isn’t so i vote >2.9.
