Update: in the preliminary ratings, Glee averaged a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating.

Glee returns tonight from a month-long hiatus with a Grease-inspired episode that will bring back some old cast members and has been heavily promoted. Though the current season premiered to a decent 3.1 adults 18-49 rating, its has been falling pretty steadily every week, ultimately dropping to a 2.4 at its lowest point before hitting a slight rebound for its last episode (which scored a 2.6). Will Glee experience a much-needed boost tonight, or is it headed for a new low? Cast your vote and then let us know why in the comments!

They really should have graduated everyone in the Glee Club last season and this season revolve around them all moving to NYC together. Why not? Of course not everyone would have gone to NYC but a big majority of them could have, and the show just focus on them only. This season, this going back and forth with characters, from one city to another, is a little tiring and confusing. So far the season has been good. But it could have been way better. Mr Schuster could have been in NYC as he wanted to be on a Broadway show. Coach Sylvester could have gone to NYC for some reason or another too…perhaps to try and ruin Mr Schuster’s career but discovering along the way that she is really in love with him.

Btw, when did Britney become gay and in a relationship with Santana? Did I miss something? I thought Britney was pretty much straight. I didn’t see any episode where she came out. This season she is in a long distance relationship with Santana. I’m lost! LOL

No Rachel or Kurt so NEW LOW!!!!

  • Sara

the episode was awful and boring. Finn calling Sue’s baby retarded didn’t help. They can start with a good number but it was free falling after I’m sure

  • Potato

Well, everyone except the shippers have stopped watching the show and the shippers hate the show so…

  • Sara

And Ryan promote Finchel, Brittana and Klaine on his twitter and there was none in this episode. Ryan knew that but he’s a smart man

2.1-2.2 if it’s lucky. Same for The X Factor.

I am slowly loosing interest in this show seriously, i used to be obsessing with glee but kow i don’t know, i clearly like the old glee gang!! No offense to the new kids but the old gang’s chemistry is still unbeatable! I want Rachel, Finn, Quin, Kurt, Puck, Mercedes, Mike and specially SANTANA on the choir room!!! Glee would never be the same..

GLEE is the number 1 drama on FOX.
it will do well(may be 2.8) since greys has lost a lot of viewers recently.

I’m going with 2.5. X-Factor can’t catch a break with The Voice going against it two nights in a row. I’m going to say X-Factor gets a 2.4 and Glee grows out of it demo. It will still be in third place though.

    Grey’s Anatomy 3.0
    Person of Interest 2.8
    Glee 2.5
    The Office 2.2

Please, FOX really needs to come back to its senses (?) and cancel this crap.

Seriously, I loved the show in the first season, and trudged through a season 2, that while not amazing, was decent. But when the show tried to capture the magic it lost between seasons at the beginning of season 3, I felt THAT should have been their chance to make it up. But then the show jumped the shark, after Quinn got hit by the car. Not only did they jump the shark, but the shark came back and bit them. As the end of season 3 was the worst case of jumped plot conclusions I had EVER seen in my life, and put season 4 in an awkward place, with less than under developed characters, and no real direction for the show. (Ironic considering the name of the group.) To me, the show had the chance to be something great, but now…it just needs to end.
