Grammy Award-Winning Megastar Taylor Swift

to Perform on The X Factor Thursday, November 15

Tonight, on the first LIVE results show of the season, it was announced that Jason Brock, one of L.A. Reid’s Over 25 finalists, was eliminated on The X Factor. Hosts Khloé Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez announced that Brock and Cece Frey received the fewest votes following last night's performance show. Then, judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and Britney Spears listened to Brock and Frey each perform their “song for survival.” After the judges came to a deadlock, Brock was sent home, based on the number of America’s votes he received. Also tonight, for the first time on any singing competition ever, this week’s individual vote rankings were revealed, from the bottom 12th act to the No. 1 vote-getter.

Earlier in the show, One Direction – the global sensation that rose to fame on the U.K. version of “The X Factor” – performed “Live While We’re Young” and “Little Things.”

Next week, on Wednesday, Nov. 14 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), The X Factor finalists: Teens – Beatrice Miller, Arin Ray, Carly Rose Sonenclar and Diamond White; Young Adults – CeCe Frey, Jennel Garcia and Paige Thomas; Over 25s – Vino Alan and Tate Stevens; and Groups – Emblem3, Fifth Harmony  and Lyric 145 – perform LIVE for America’s votes.

Immediately after the performance show, fans will be able to vote via 1) Verizon Touch Voting on The Xtra Factor App on Verizon Android devices; 2) toll-free calling; 3) text messaging for Verizon Wireless customers; and 4) online at TheXFactorUSA.com. Fans with valid Facebook accounts can also vote at Facebook.com/TheXFactorUSA.

On Thursday, Nov. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), six-time Grammy-winning superstar Taylor Swift will take to The X FACTOR stage for the first-ever television performance of “State of Grace,” from her blockbuster new album, “Red.” Then, find out who moves on in the competition and who is sent home, when the results of America’s votes are revealed LIVE.

Swift, a six-time Grammy Award winner, is the youngest winner in the history of the music industry’s highest honor: the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. She recently released her fourth studio album, “Red,” to rave reviews and record-breaking sales, selling more than 1.2 million copies in its first week of release. Writing all of her own songs, Swift has career record sales in excess of 22 million albums and 50 million song downloads, and her two most recent albums are two of only 18 albums in the entire history of music to sell more than one million copies in a single week. She has had singles top both the country and pop radio charts around the globe, and has thus far scored 11 No. 1 singles across multiple radio formats. She is one of the Top Five-selling digital music artists worldwide, and is the top-selling digital artist in country music history. Time magazine has named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world. She is also Billboard magazine’s youngest-ever Woman of the Year, and her more than 100 industry awards include the American Music Awards’ Artist of the Year, as well as the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year.

Why is The X Factor still on air?
I thought it was cancelled for its low ratings, no?
    Completely innocent here…

  • X Factor Fanatic

    @ John Spears

Unfortunately for you, it IS still on air! Duh!
I have to admit though that it hasn’t done pretty well in the US as the ratings suggest.
The original UK version is MUCH better which produced REAL stars.

  • John Spears

    Sorry then… my bad…

  • Jonathan

I love the X Factor because the performances are so amazing! American Idol and The Voice put nothing into their performances.

  • Slim

You should watch and see this Carly Rose girl she is the best singer i hvae ever seen come from one of these shows.

  • jRobnyc

New flash I don’t care about X-Factor (Perez does because they advertise on his site), however I don’t care about The Voice, American Idol, etc. fabricated talent is not the best kind although I do like Carrie Underwood. Just my 2 bitchy cents.

  • Jack S

Bit of a random song for Taylor, I’ve not heard that it’s meant to be a single.

The right person did go home but wasn’t best pleased to see my least favourite had topped the public vote (over Carly who gave a STUNNING performance).

  • cwolfe

It is so sad that one of the best singers Cece Frey has been given Demi who showed the least interest in her team. Britney is so prejudiced altogether by this singer. I think the fans should group together and show her some support. She may have been overly confident at first, but you should judge her by the great singer she really is. Demi showed her loyalty to Paige and
I feel you should really seriously vote for the talent and not by Cece’s own
judge who has given her the worst selection of music…….

  • Mary

I think that CeCe is one of the BEST SINGERS on the X Factor and I hope she stays and they give her a chance. I almost feel with her beginning attitude (which changed) the judges have it out for her…GIVE HER A CHANCE!! GIVE HER GOOD SONGS TO SING!!! SHE’S REALLY A GOOD SINGER!!

  • klee

Ummmmmm No CeCe is not the best singer by far. Carly on the other hand is outstanding.

  • Hi-Fi

Are you guys kidding! Cece Frie’s songs are always pitchy her best songs were her audition and her november 29th song. The two singers eliminated on nov 29 were much much better. I hope LA or Simon pick them up as clients, they deserve to be stars.
