I read a lot of lefty friend regulars last night but boy the loons are out in force on the site. Yes, they come to rub our faces in defeat with their obnoxious rhetoric.

I am not talking about Boss, Jeff, Mark, Anthony P. or even the prickly Mark 2. You could probably take two ways but knowing me you know how I meant it.

I am talking about the underbelly of the left, have invaded our little site. Hey dumbbells the election is over and you won. Now put down the bong and the Jack Daniels and tell us how you are going to govern.

Share for us your insight know how to fix the debt, unemployment, health care costs (don’t say Obamacare wait til you see the bill for that), The growing tide of terrorists in newly freed Islamic countries, high energy prices, declining income just to name a few.

Otherwise go back to media matters and tell them you can’t play here they have grown up people on that site.

Just what Colorado needs more lazy dope smokers. It is ideas like legal dope smoking that will make this country great again. I am glad to see the left has hit the street running trying to solve our big problems.

    Good weekend morning.

    ———–

I try to separate TVBTN’s from my ‘real world ,’ & leave my musings & yours behind when I’m not here. The last few days ,I’ve not been able to do that. We have a huge divide in America , &, it’s on more than political lines… that’s just what is visible here at the moment.

The idiom, “Talk is Cheap,” has been around forever for a reason. It happens to be true. Anyone can have an unreasoned or a cerebral discussion about what is wrong in America , be it, politics , haves vs. have nots , religion or lack of it , racism , immigration ….. you name it. Anyone can yak, yak, yak. I challenge everyone here to ask themselves what are they really doing besides talking. Right now, my husband is cooking a community breakfast . We plan to help serve 500 Thanksgiving meals. Sure we would rather be with our group of friends getting together ; we’re ringing the bell again this year for the Salvation Army , too. We walk the walk, with local & state politics , get involved in the schools , & many , many other things. This isn’t meant to be smug or back patting, more to point out that anyone that takes the time to post here has time to re-enforce their beliefs in areas that would help the USA. I don’t care if they my beliefs or not, as long as they are positive. If even one gets up from their chair, it’s a start.

I’ve got to take a break from here , so , I can remain focused & positive. Promise to be back.

Good post dd. I do hope you will be back as I always am informed by your posts and admire the person I know you to be by your posts. In regard to how this board has devolved, I agree. Although I read and follow many sites, this is the only place I post. When I first started following it, it was mostly civil and more intellectual than others that I read. It has changed but is still better than most and I can compartmentalize–have always been able to do so–a curse or a blessing–I don’t know. When I find certain posters that are mean spirited with nothing to offer I scroll on by. That being said–I am also what I believe to be fatalistic/realistic about many things. I have come to grips with the fact that the demographics have changed and conservatism is a thing of the past. I don’t believe that any Republican candidate could have won the last election as the majority of the population wants liberalism. The GOP will remain and they will be strong in places if they become democrat light politicians. The Republican party will now need to promise people things, demonize the other party and lie to get elected. They already do a lot of this just not as much or as effectively as the dems. I don’t see the demographics doing anything but continuing to grow in favor of the liberals. Their constituency will always vote for others to foot the bill and for them to get the handouts. So be it–I know that my family and I are strong, self reliant people and we will learn to survive. We will continue to believe that a small, limited and fiscally responsible government is the way to go–but we are now in the ever shrinking minority. Our family is community minded. We have always donated to and worked with groups that help those that are trying to help themselves. We will continue to do so. My hope is that obama will push through everything he has in mind—do it quickly and don’t drag it out— cap and trade—electric rates will soar: stop drilling on all federal lands–gas prices will soar–businesses will be crippled; — take over health care and the banks–health care cost will increase and the quality of care will decrease–banks will get even bigger and more likely to fail. Open the border and let everyone across–hello terrorist–got a dirty bomb with you??? and Hispanics–the Mexico you fled— well—welcome to the US–we will become what you fled. Push through card check— punish right to work states–the price of everything will soar and businesses will close infinitum. Punish, demonize and make fun of Christians–our faith will strengthen. My husband said even if the dems get everything the want and the economy crashes, they will still blame the republicans —They will say, “It is the GOP’s fault. They knew these policies would fail and they didn’t stop us– lol
Have a good one and all–out to work in the yard and enjoy the day!!

Goooooood Morning Fans, time to take a look at the scoreboard!!!

After an impressive win by Team Obama on tuesday lets look at some tof the games that surrounded it.
First Bengazi, the Obama defense and even coach Obama lied about the attack despite a few fumbles by the offence revealing that it really was a terrorist attack but Coach Obama ran out the clock by repeating “investigation” over and over. By the way it is noted the the referees in the game were MSNBC,NBC,and ABC.
Now lets move on to about a week before the election when the Iranians fired on one of our unarmed drones. In a miraculous play it became declasified the day after the election but up until that point it was “classified” and that is why it was not mentioned.
And in a game just yeaterday, Gen Petraeus resigns over having and affair. Team FBI know about this affair for some time as it was discovered while they were investigating another issue but it was not a “serious breach of security” until a couple of days after the election.

Now to the injury report, The trainers at the White House say that Gen Retraeus will NOT testify at next week Bengazi hearings as planned because of his affair resignation even though there is nor reason why he couldnt or shouldnt.

We should also note that it looks like Eric Holder will not be back next season. He has received many thumpings during the last season and may be afraid that the next big hit could put him away and out of commision for a long time. Also Hillary might also leave the team when her contract expires. It is speculated that she may go back to Team Clinton and start training for the 1016 Super Bowl. She does have to finish this season without injury though and that could be hard as she has been thrown under the bus a few times by Coach Obama already.

And now back to the game!!!

  • Sicilian Papa

General Petraeus won’t testify? Now why is that? I thought that whole thing yesterday sounded a little phony.

The good thing about the Repubs. controlling the House is they can compel him to testify. If the General does not testify that will look really bad. I suspect O. talked with him on Sept. 11, 2012 and O. desperately wants to keep those conversations quiet.

Can anyone say worse than Watergate if the General does not testify.

Conspiracy theory du jour: O. and his people were blackmailing the General with his affair so he would help them with the cover up.

If this is true yes you can use the I word. Poetic Justice.

Simple answer, have the General testify under oath. If there is nothing to hide things may be a little embarrassing but not serious.

  • Sicilian Papa

The Military answers yesterday are not adding up either. They said there was no Military assets close enough to help.

Panetta said days after the attack that you don’t send in the Military unless you know the threat.

Oh what a scandal, again if they are telling the truth about the Military they are in the clear.

These sticky situations are when it is nice to own the corrupt media.

Boy it sure would be nice to have that forth broadcast network news show now to blare this scandal out to the American people.

    Hello All,
I’m not one to talk about Stats here, but, oh, boy, MSNBC won, big time in the Demo, day and night. Could it be that M. Kelly’s walk down the hallway to the men who called the vote and she just had to ascertain that the Pres won OH? It could be that that craziness woke up some of the Fox lover’s? Check out Bill Maher’s ‘bubble’ and the bubble was burst, loud and clear across the country, election night. Of course, Dear Mitch M. still thinks he is in charge. Dream on, Mitch. BBL

    @Jeff–Romney lost the Mormon vote?

Romney won the % of Mormon vote handedly, but I think what Jeff was trying to point out was that Bush had a better percentage of Mormon votes compared to Obama(Bush 80%, Romney 78%)

    @Letmethink

The GOP will remain and they will be strong in places if they become democrat light politicians.
    ——————————————-
I personally think what the GOP has to do is give politicians in areas that are more liberal freedom to have opposing views and vote against the party. Voting as a block the past couple years really hurt the Republican brand in areas that don’t agree with some of their view points

I know alot of bleeding heart liberals hate those Blue Dog Democrats who vote against the party at times but simple fact is you don’t win Senate seats in Indiana, Montana or Missouri if you run candidates who vote by a rigid Democrat idiology.

Look what happened to Olympia Snowe, she was basically run out of Maine because people there thought she was to Moderate and basically the Republicans lost 1 Senate seat(one that she most likely could have won if she ran again)

  • ninja

@ Mark that makes sense to me.

It is good to see that he is bringing that change to the next term! ………………………or not! DAMN I am glad he won!!!

    Obama Plays Golf

President Barack Obama is spending his first Saturday after winning reelection on the golf course. Today’s outing is to the course on Andrews Air Force Base.

“Motorcade arrived at Andrews Air Force Base at 11:01 am after an uneventful ride,” the pool report reads. “President Obama is playing golf with three White House aides: Eugene Kang, Joe Paulson and trip director Marvin Nicholson, according to a White House official. Pool is holding at the Andrews fast food court for the next few hours.”

Toward the end of the campaign, Obama seemed to have eased off his golf game. He did, however, play on August 4, his 51 birthday, which was his 104 round of golf as president of the United States

Exclusive: Jackson Jr. Plea Deal Includes Resignation, Pleading Guilty To Misuse Of Funds…

    The tentative deal includes:

    –Jackson resigning for health reasons.

–His pleading guilty to charges involving misuse of campaign funds.

–The congressman’s repayment of any contributions that were converted to personal use, such as home furnishings, improper travel or gifts.

At least some jail time would appear to be inevitable for Jackson, the son of civil-rights icon Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. and spouse of Chicago 7th Ward Ald. Sandi Jackson.
