@Mark2
From my understanding West is challenging the contest(although he will most likely lose given how many votes he is behind(3000 votes in a race that had ~300k combined))
I don’t think the country is moving center left, I just think the Republican party has moved so far to the right that the Democrats get more of the center right vote then the Republicans get the center-left
Afternoon all,
Quick post, my opinion is that the Republicans should give the president what he wants as far as taxing the 1%. It will piss off a lot of Republicans but then the President will finally have to own the economy. Plus he needs to say what exactly will happen if he gets the tax increase. If these tangible goals are not met he will have no one in the Republican Party to blame. If they do work it will prove once and for all his philosophy is correct. Either way we will have an answer and we can stop all this playground finger-pointing. Just my humble opinion.
@BobbyV
They don’t even have to give Obama what he wants, they can just let the Bush tax cuts end, then create a new tax law for people under a certain amount(250k and under). In this case they don’t have to break their pledge with Grover
Mark,
True, I am for that. It almost seems like both side like this gridlock, this way they can both finger-point and not be held directly accountable. Why do that when you can always blame the other guy?
Can’t we all just get along?
Florida goes to Obama. Karl Rove, you missed another one.

@sam
she was so right.
Most surprising results of the 2012 Election:
1. Obama wins Florida (3 Florida papers had Romney winning by 5 and 6 points).
2. Obama wins Virginia by getting 49% of the Active Duty & Veteran’s vote.
3. Obama wins Popular vote by 3.2 Million and still counting.
4. Over 75% of Tea Pary backed candidates lose.
5. 65% now believe that Illegals should be offered Legal status
6. 59% now believe A/bortion should be Always Legal or Mostly Legal
Texas A&M—Alabama
Mark2. Where did those numbers come from?

I am not surprised the Democrats get the Veteran vote. The Democrats seem to generally fight harder for returning veterans policies or veteran benefits in general

Don’t tell that to the right in here. Two days before the election Ratboy posted a link of veterans that supported Romney and was attacking Obama because of the way he treats the military and veterans. I then posted a link of how veterans and the military also supported Obama back in April and I was attacked saying “ohhh but the Benghzai attack changed it all!!!”.
RBS……….if you need a friend, lean on me. What’s with all the hate, just tell us we’ll understand.
@Ninja “Mark2. Where did those numbers come from?”
Just by doing a little research. Which numbers were you most interested in?
What’s with all the hate,
What hate? I guess pointing out facts is considered hate now?
@ mark2 …….never thought to look them up, just interested sorry. I never doubted it.
RBS……..you sounded bitter. I guess that’s just who you are.
Not my fault that’s how you perceived my comment. I was stating facts of what happened and that I was actually right. The right are still missing in here, kinda depressing for them I guess.
Can’t we all just get along?
Is it ture that Karl Rove is hiding somewhere in PC because rich white men are pissed that he wasted their money?
Obama wont be there, Petreus wont be there, now Clinton wont be there……….we have re-elected the most transparent administration in history!!!! What a JOKE!!!! and over 330 electoral votes fell for it…………………again!
House asks Clinton to testify on Benghazi, but she declines due to scheduling conflict
