    @CrimTV

    You forgot 666 Park Avenue, The Middle, Suburgatory, Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23, and Body of Proof!

    ^And The Neighbors!

    Probably the only TV shows on ABC that have male leads are Last Resort and Last Man Standing (and the male lead has 4 supprting females). The rest are women-led or have ensemble casts (Modern Family and Happy Endings).

    @Austin,

    FOX hasn’t launched a hit drama for at least 3 years. Before last year ABC struggled to launch a drama for a couple years. And before Modern Family ABC couldn’t launch a comedy to save its life. CBS has been pretty stable for the last several years, but there was a stretch for them when nothing seemed to work. TV just works like that.

    Scandal doing as well as Castle and the other ten pm shows these days.

  • POIFanatic

    @Nick: Last Resort has many leading ladies as well. And they are all gorgeous and talented.

    “Probably the only TV shows on ABC that have male leads are Last Resort and Last Man Standing”

    666 leads are both Terry O’Quinn and Rachel to be honest.

  • Martine

    @ Nick, what do you expect from the political correctness gone nuts network?

  • Michael

    poor Simon. What a disaster. And poor Fox – literally.

    Love Person of Interest. 14.87 million watched it 11/8. Great show, and it only continues to get better.

  • Rober

    Dear Fox, please do ourselves a favour, and cancel Glee at the end of fourth season.

    The problem with SCANDAL this week, was that it was not aired last week in order to show the Country Music Awards. It is has a growing audience, so losing a week to “keep them coming” is rough and is going to show in the numbers.

    I LOVE SCANDAL. I nearly freaked out when it didn’t air last week. Also, Hulu didn’t highlight it the Friday after it this week so ABC has got to look into that. I watch SCANDAL religiously, but have NEVER seen it on television, only the Internet. Is that bad for its ratings? How does that work?

    FlopWatch: Scandal… Good concept. But overhyped, under delivers. The lead actress (can’t think of her name, but it doesn’t matter) is too much of a lightweight to carry the load. Even the wallpaper is more convincing that her. Cannot suspend my disbelief anymore. Buh Bye Scandal.

    TVD is doing better probably because of the new awarenees of the Breaking Dawn trailers & movie coming out. It reminds people of TVD. – It’s just how I see it, anyways.

  • RG-X

    GLEE is dead
    X-FACTOR needs re-tooling or move it to Summer – the female Emcee is HORRIBLE!

    Brian Williams needs to consider to just do the Nightly News and end his little news/magazine show.

  • RG-X

    TBBT is a monster hit of what TV used to be.

    I notice a lot of RANDOM Black guys go out of their way to give SCANDAL a hard time. Given that they are not the intended audience, I wonder what that’s about?!?!? Happens on Facebook all of the time! A lot of people will be commenting, positively, and then some Black guy out of nowhere jumps in about how the show has terrible writing or nothing compared to some show on cable (COMPLETELY NOT TRUE – SCANDAL’S WRITING ACTUALLY KEEPS ME GUESSING!). I don’t see them doing it for REVENGE or other similar shows whose boards I check out for my media class research. What’s up with that? You’d think if they didn’t like it, they would just watch other shows. It’s almost as if they’re trying to sabotage it… U-L-T-R-A W-E-I-R-D!

  • Emily

    @silvit – You’re right. I’m going to have to do more research, but there are SOOO many female-led shows, that its actually starting to get embarrassing.

    @Austin – I never watch these shows in real-time. I always catch them on hulu or the network websites, later in the week. PARENTHOOD is an awesome drama on NBC. It really doesn’t get its due. What I don’t know is if The Voice is its lead-in.

    I am very excited for Scandal. I am so hooked on this show.
