    Iggy and Babygate keepin it real. The air times for these shows have already been announced.

  • Austin

    This show looks horrendous anyways.

    @Ultima

    Yay good news, the earlier the better, let’s just hope the comedy ratings on Tuesday currently won’t make HTLWYP fail

  • LMS questions

    They saw LMS and Reba’s ratings and were like we aint got no more room.

    I think this is the shortest “article” I have ever read. It’s really just 2 headlines, as a matter of fact. Oh well.

    @alffan…I assume you’re suggesting an ABC schedule for January-March ONLY since “Dancing With the Stars” is nowhere to be seen. Even with this season’s “All Stars” ratings drops, ABC isn’t canceling the show any time soon. So, your schedule becomes a train wreck once DWTS returns.

    ABC should NOT put any scripted series into the DWTS timeslots for either the performance show or the results, because they will only have to be moved once DWTS returns, thus hurting any scripteds. Stick reality dreck into the DWTS slots or you’re just throwing money and viewers away.

    As for ABC ordering comedy after comedy after comedy, WTF? Here’s a novel idea: Let the comedies you already HAVE flourish and STOP ordering new ones unless one of the existing ones actually gets canceled. You have more comedies than you know what to do with and are approaching audience over-saturation now. ENOUGH !!

  • Patrick Gillease

    And Dan…While I like “Last Resort,” did you actually view this week’s ratings for the show? ABC most certainly will NOT be ordering any new episodes, except maybe ONE a-la “Pan Am” to give the show closure with a finale of sorts. With demo numbers in the low 1.0′s now, the show is definitely going to be canceled! :(

  • Dan

    @Patrick Gillease – You may be right but to save face (with no breakout hits) ABC may give Last Resort more eps like they did with The Forgotten and Detroit 187. ABC will spin it to seem like the show is doing well but its not. I wouldnt be shocked if ABC capped both 666 and Last Resort at 13 episodes but I would be surprised. I expect if Last Resort gets 3 more episodes it will wrap up by February and will be replaced by Zero Hour or Red Widow. Shark Tank would probably do better in the 8:00 Thursday slot as would winter Wipeout but ABC has 3 dramas for midseason plus Body of Proof (which will replace Private Practice by February.

    Say The Neighbors and Malibu Country were the only ones picked up this season. Say they both bombed and had to be removed from the schedule in 2 weeks. You say that the networks should then order new comedies. Guess what? THEY WON’T BE READY FOR MONTHS! Wtf do you think they should put in the two big holes then?

    You can’t change the whole way the networks work, buddy. I’m sorry to take you out of La La Land, but it ain’t happening.

    @Dan

    Why would ABC need to save face when they could just give Nashville a full season, they have also now given Scandal a full season and need slots for new dramas Red Widow and Zero Hour plus returning Body Of Proof. One will go at Sunday 10pm, one at Tuesday 10pm and they need a new slot, the only other available slot would be Thursday at 8pm.

    This means Dancing will be back for a second cycle *with* a results show.

    I think Revenge should’ve been moved to Tuesday @ 9, as a big part of its success last season was being a mid-week show.

    A move to 9 pm, stil at mid-week, would’ve a) been a permenant fix for the DWTS results show, b) allowed RVG to thrive, and c) opened up Wednesday @ 10.

    Of course, Sundays would need 2 shows at 9 and at 10. Castle could’ve covered 10 pm Sundays.

    this annoys me, i love Leah Remini

    How often does this happen? I can’t really recall this happening much in the past (I may have just not been paying attention), but first The Goodwin Games on Fox and now this? To me, it seems out of the ordinary, especially with the fact that neither Fox nor ABC is doing particularly well this season compared with expectations. Anyone able to help me out here?

    A handful of additional episodes for either would neither be a big surprise, nor would it be a face saving move, it would be simple schedule filling. It’s also almost impossible to anticipate without knowing a lot about the insides of the ABC scheduling process.

    Both will air 13 episodes plus or minus a few and then die quietly. Nothing to see here, move along…

    @Nick

    Oh wow! I love that schedule! Apart from the Saturday comedies this is perfect

  • Nick

    @CrimTV

    Thanks. :D

  • Ram510

    If ABC doesn’t cut How To Live’s order maybe they’ll try those extra 3 episodes on Wednesday some where behind The Middle or Modern Family. Or How to Live could have an hour premiere before Family Tools starts an 1 episode could be tested on wednesday. Since How to live is more promising that Family Tools and Neighbors isn’t likely to get a second season at this point in my opinion.

    And Family Tools is going to be a flop just cause Kyle Bornheimer is in it. Every show Ed on is an instant fail. No wonder the order was cut

  • Ram510

    @ Nick

    That’s actually a solid schedule, except for a couple things. I’m not sure ABC is ready to put comedies on Saturdays yet. And I feel Castle should move to Thursdays at 8. It’s already got a syndication deal and it doesn’t need to hide behind DWTS any longer, they need to try a new show there. And now that Scandal has a full season I’m not sure if it can wrap up its season in time to make room for another show. However Revenge/Mistresses combo sounds good

  • Nick

    @Justin121

    I think Revenge should’ve been moved to Tuesday @ 9, as a big part of its success last season was being a mid-week show.

    … How???

  • CrimTV

    Yes I agree with Ram, If ABC wanted to cut How to Live With Your Parent’s order they would have now along with Family Tools, but since only Family Tools episode order was cut, could they still be planning to air 13 or so episodes of HTLWYP on Wednesday?
