TZCA,
Yes, saving spotted owls is more important then feeding, clothing and housing people. Libs are funny. They see a man shooting a bear because the bear is about to attack his children and cry, “What a horrible man! If he didn’t live in the bears area he wouldn’t have to kill the bear.” Then they watch a nature show and see one bear kill another and they say. “It’s the circle of life. Only the strong live.”
======================
Is this your description of a liberal? Maybe you should describe what it is you disagree with instead of using tags to incorporate a wide spectrum of people. I believe in a woman’s right to do what she wants with her belly, but I would shoot a bear for fun. If I could. Where would you put me?

Thank you. You gave me the response I had hoped to solicit. I also hope that you might read some of my other posts and realize that I was being sarcastic. I am not against doing what we can to protect our environment and I’d hate to see the abuses get as bad as they did under Carnegie/Rockefeller/JP Morgan. But, there has to be compromise. Killing a logger to save tree by planting rail ties into trees such that saw blades break is not compromise.

Somewhere between Lost and Found.
Gabriel,
I checked the U.S. 2010 cen. for the number of people over 18 that are allowed to vote.
I used MSNBC vote totals, CBS vote totals, ABC vote totals for the vote totals and I used math to get the percentage.
62/229 equal 27%. So, only 27% of the people in the U.S voted for Obama.
61 is votes for people other then Obama. You have to look at all votes. You can’t just look at the Romney votes.
Do you have a problem with the numbers?
LOL

Petraeus Personally Investigated Benghazi Attack
Petraeus’ personal involvement in this investigation is one reason some in Congress are likely to insist he testify on Benghazi.
But now Petraeus is telling friends he does not think he should testify.
Petraeus has offered two reasons for wanting to avoid testifying: Acting CIA Director Morell is in possession of all the information Petraeus gathered in conducting his review and he has more current information gathered since Petraeus’ departure; and it would be a media circus.

@Cathy
First of all your numbers are off. The number of 18 yr olds is not the same as eligible voters. Eligible voters are not the same as registered voters. Registered voters are not the same as Likely voters.
Those people who are eligible to vote but do not register and vote is their choice. Those who are registered to vote but do not vote is also their choice. Those people no longer have a ‘chip in the game’ when it comes to the final election number totals. This goes for every single election in the past. So this notion of including people who didn’t vote in your overall percentages is irrelevant because you have no idea how those people would’ve voted. Also, your way of thinking would have to be applied to every single President that was elected in the past.
As far as you other numbers go, those were off as well. As of a couple of minutes ago these are the actual numbers:
Obama = 62,306,898 (50.6%)
Romney = 58,937,514 (47.8%)
That’s a 2.8% lead and still growing. By the time all the west coast votes are counted Obama will probably end up with 65 Million votes and s 3-3.5% lead. This will give Obama the 2 highest vote totals in the history of Presidential elections.
“Between the Secret Service prostitution scandal (remember that?) and the Real Housewives of West Point, who has time for Taxmageddon and sequestration? Oh, and the president didn’t know about any of it, just like he didn’t know about Fast and Furious. Look at what our president is unaware of.” -Rush Limbaugh
“But now Petraeus is telling friends he does not think he should testify.”
————————————————-
If he is subpoenaed he will probably decide that he SHOULD testify.
Why is it when something good happens(Osama Bin Laden) the Administration was all aware and on top of the info. But when there is serious breaches they have no idea of what’s going on and were given no notice. Coincidence? Hmmmmm……..
