Fringe & Nikita held the demo. Good. Despite what others have said, I feel like Nikita’s having a great season so far. Hopefully the shift to 8 pm will help. If not, then I find it hard to justify a renewal.
I like that SPN on a Wednesday seems to be beating Fringe on a Friday. Especially after comments made from Fringe higher ups when they moved SPN to Fridays.
Glad Malibu County adjusted up. I don’t like this show as much as Reba’s other show (stupid CW for cancelling it!), but I think it has potential.
“I like that SPN on a Wednesday seems to be beating Fringe on a Friday. Especially after comments made from Fringe higher ups when they moved SPN to Fridays.”
Hadn’t even thought of that! I don’t know why they made those comments. All it did was make people resentful of their show, which wasn’t the show’s fault. Cause wasn’t it the FOX people who made those comments, not the Fringe people themselves?
Grimm is a fighter!!! Solid performance
Shark Tank is a huge hit!
What did the Fringe/Fox people say about Supernatural?
good for malibu country. the show, in theory, is not my cupe of tea at all, but i gave it a try and i am enjoying it very much, so I hope it does great in the future. This week’s drop is still ugly, but next week could rebound a bit.
Thats better for Malibu Country. I to hope the move back to 8 for Nikita will help in a couple of weeks. As i mentioned before it will be the only new drama on at that time.
@DryedMangoez
“Even in genre, that show is not a ratings powerhouse. By the way, is Supernatural on Friday? I’m not sure.” Reilly paused to laugh. “Good to know. So, there’s your answer.”
Kevin Reilly, Fox Exec took a shot at Supernatural when the network moved Fringe to Fridays. Ratings powerhouse or not, looks like SPN will long outlast Fringe.
MC up to 1.7 is pretty good. LMS and MC make a pretty good damn combo. ABC should just leave them on Fridays and let them build that night up for comedies. Move Shark Tank to Thursdays at 8pm.
Even though it was just a repeat, I can’t believe how well GWK moves in the demo. It should be interesting to see if it actually grows in the demo off of Whitney on Thursday.
I hope CSI: NY will get extra episodes (2 or 4). What will happen when the show will complete his 18 episodes-run ? Blue Bloods will fall to 1.2 ? What CBS wants to do without it on Friday ? For me Golden Boy won’t be a hit and if CBS puts it on Friday at 9/8c it’s DOA.
@ CBSViewer
I agree that CSI: NY should get a full season order as its really the glue that’s kept CBS relevant after Ghost Whisperer off air. Without CSI: NY maybe Blue Bloods isn’t consistently the most watched show every Friday. Golden Boy needs CSI: NY’s help if they land it there.
Poor Nikita i hope it goes up on november 30 8.7c
who cares what you nikita haters says
@ Eddy
That’s true but I don’t know if CBS is ready to give it more episodes. If so we’ll know after the November sweeps. Maybe if the Show remains stable (1.4-1.5) it could get a full season order.
@SueP
Well obviously Supernatural will outlast Fringe because it’s Fringe’s final season and Supernautral began like 3 years before Fringe anyway!
Response from an SPN fan:
Fox is the network that gave us such ratings powerhouses as The Mob Doctor. Last year they went down in flames with two genre shows – Terra Nova and Alcatraz. Is Kevin Reilly still at Fox? I’m not sure. (Pause to laugh) Good to know. Nice that Grimm was no competition either.
Good for Malibu Country for adjusting up. I really thibk that ABC has something here with a TGIF block.
fox needs to worry about their sad state of shows and quit hating on one of the best shows ever! go supernatural!
Hopefully the sitcoms won’t fall below 1.5, I hope will let these shows grow
Ah crap Nikita didnt adjust down. Pathetic that it couldnt get a million.
