NEW E! NEWS CO-ANCHOR TERRENCE JENKINS READY FOR A BUSY FIRST WEEK ON THE JOB, BEGINNING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12
First Newscast to Feature Jenkins' Interview with Controversial Singer Chris Brown
Los Angeles, CA – November 12, 2012 – Today, Monday, November 12 is a big day for entertainment news fans everywhere, as Terrence Jenkins debuts as the new co-anchor of E! News. Jenkins joins Giuliana Rancic, who returns to E! News the same day, following maternity leave.
Jenkins will debut with a special sit down with singer Chris Brown from the Los Angeles launch of his Symphonic Love Foundation. The singer, who rarely does interviews, talks about what he is working on now and his back-up career in basketball. Plus he reveals a new tattoo and the one thing he wants everyone to know about him. It's an interview viewers will not want to miss, and will be featured on E! News, Monday, November 12th at 7:00 and 11:30 pm ET/PT.
Additionally, as Managing Editor of E! News, Ryan Seacrest spends some time with Terrence to “show him the ropes.” But for every piece of information Ryan gives, Giuliana has her own opinion that never seems to match up!
Jenkins has other interviews ready for his first week on the new job too, as he sits down in New York with "Live With Kelly and Michael" co-host Michael Strahan, who recently joined Kelly Ripa on the hit syndicated daytime show. Plus he has a one-on-one with Sharon Osbourne, co-host of "The Talk" who recently announced her preventative double mastectomy. The two discussed the person she thinks should replace her on "America's Got Talent," spending the summer in New York with daughter Aimee and how romantic Ozzy is.
And each night during his first week on the air, Jenkins will hit the streets of L.A. with a different member of the E! News on-air team, who show "the new guy" around town, with stops at their favorite spots in order to help the life-long East Coaster get his L.A. vibe going.
