Due to the nature of live  programming the ratings for NBC (NFL Football), & FOX(Football Overruns)  are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.

NBC was number one among adults 18-49 and with total viewers.

On NBC, Sunday Night Football (Texans/Bears) earned a preliminary 7.0 adults 18-49 rating from 8:30-11:00PM, down 4%  from last week's 7.3 rating.

The start times of FOX's animated shows were delayed about 20 minutes due to football overrun, rendering their preliminary ratings meaningless. The final numbers for the programs, including the 200th episode of Family Guy will be available tomorrow.

On ABC, America's Funniest Home Videos earned a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating, down 18%  from  last week's 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Once Upon A Time garnered a  series low 2.7down 23% from last week's 3.4 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were way too optimistic, probably because you did not anticipate  FOX’s football game running way over. Revenge scored a season low 2.4, down 11% from last week's 2.7 adults 18-49 rating. 666 Park Avenue scored a 1.3 among adults 18-49 rating, matching  last week’s series low.

On CBS, 60 Minutes earned a 1.7, down 50% from last week's 3.4 adults 18-49 rating. The Amazing Race scored a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating, down 8%  from last week's 2.6. The Good Wife tied last week's series-low 1.7 adults 18-49. The Mentalist matched last week's 1.8 adults 18-49 rating.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Mentalist is still holding on which is amazing.

I’ll enjoy 666 while it lasts. Its very cheesy, but what the heck, its fun.

I feel bad for Once and Revenge and I don’t even watch those shows.

  • Justin121

    @The Olde Man

    Qoute: WOW-WOW-WOW TGW! OMG!

Why so many WoW’s? Did something happen to The Good Wife?

  • Starship

It goes to prove that Revenge isn’t lead in dependent. Anyway, I wouldn’t expect people interested in Once Upon A Time to necessary be interested in Revenge, seeing as it it’s completely different.

  • s0303

once dropped a lot, but that’s no reason to worry…it’s definitely getting renewed…a 2.7 is still good…i don’t even think any show on fox got a 2.7 last week…

  • Nick

    Once & Revenge :(

  • HalCapone

Football, football overruns and more football were responsible for the declines on ABC, the only network that doesn’t broadcast NFL football. The huge Chicago and Houston markets were obviously tuned in as was most of the country because of these 2 top teams playing. Adjustments up for both Once and Revenge are possible.

  • r0ckmypants

Ready guys, I’m gonna get Fan Excuse Bingo in one shot right now:

    1. Veteran’s Day
    2. Skyfall
    3. Football
    4. Warmer weather in the northeast
    5. The Walking Dead

Seriously, there are really no excuses for a 0.8 drop week-to-week. None and all of these things may be true, but they do not account for such a staggering loss.

  • Paul

@ MaryR – completely agree The Mentalist was excellent last night after a few lousy episodes. It’ll go up when football’s over…

DWTS & Castle are being preempted in the Pittsburgh market as local ABC affiliate is running the Steeler game, which I’m sure will crush the usual ratings in this market.

  • RyanCanada

Revenge is one of the most addicting shows on Primetime! Emiliy Van Vamp is AMAZING and deserves an emmy.

  • Dóchas

It looks like a lot of people enjoyed Football and The Walking Dead, like me, instead of ABC soap shows. That’s an ugly drop for OUAT. They need to focus on the core of what the audience loves. Not the supporting the audience is lukewarm towards. I still haven’t watched Revenge yet but it’s on the DVR. I’m biased in that I like Last Resort for the Braugher/Speedman factor so I can’t help but wonder if they would fare better on Sunday nights as opposed to Park Avenue? That would be three good hours of dramatic entertainment, guilty pleasure TV, whatever you want to call it, as opposed to 2 sometimes good, sometimes bad hours.

    “Warmer weather in the northeast”

  • Tessa

I’m baffled by people asking what happened to the ratings when I look at the table and see red all across. Isn’t the answer rather obvious? Football?

  • Reality TV Addict

Sad times ahead for FOX when Family Guy is their highest rated non sports show.

  • Mike S

No worries about the ABC shows…they will rebound next week, once Football is over. Fox will likely be adjusted down, as will CBS. Football is just vastly overrated to me honestly. 666 Park doesn’t stand a chance…

  • Bob

I absolutely love Revenge! Great job only losing .03 from OUAT. Last night seems to have been pretty bad all around. I blame it on Veteran’s Day Weekend….a lot of people traveling over the 3 day holiday….Yeah Another Bingo Excuse spot. lol.

  • omabin

NO! Once Upon a Time and Revenge!! What the hell happened there? It’s not normal such a huge drop, especially following last week’s amazing episodes of both!

    @ Justin 121

So many WOW’s because it was such an outstanding episode last night. Is Amanda Peet joining the show? There were no less than six known guest actors (John Shea as Cory’s son). Kalinda is becoming Kalinda again & Lockhardt & Gardner’s fate escalated even more.

Amazingly well written, should easily be an awards contender in multiple categories.

  • Dan S

Wow, OUAT really wasn’t that terrific last night. I was somewhat bored by it & I’m guessing a lot of people tuned out. I need my fix of Rumplestiltsken aka Mr. Gold.

  • DW

i dropped ouat last week. last nights football game was going to drop everything. two 7-1 teams in the Midwest = big numbers.
