Due to the nature of live programming the ratings for NBC (NFL Football), & FOX(Football Overruns) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.
NBC was number one among adults 18-49 and with total viewers.
On NBC, Sunday Night Football (Texans/Bears) earned a preliminary 7.0 adults 18-49 rating from 8:30-11:00PM, down 4% from last week's 7.3 rating.
The start times of FOX's animated shows were delayed about 20 minutes due to football overrun, rendering their preliminary ratings meaningless. The final numbers for the programs, including the 200th episode of Family Guy will be available tomorrow.
On ABC, America's Funniest Home Videos earned a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating, down 18% from last week's 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Once Upon A Time garnered a series low 2.7down 23% from last week's 3.4 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were way too optimistic, probably because you did not anticipate FOX’s football game running way over. Revenge scored a season low 2.4, down 11% from last week's 2.7 adults 18-49 rating. 666 Park Avenue scored a 1.3 among adults 18-49 rating, matching last week’s series low.
On CBS, 60 Minutes earned a 1.7, down 50% from last week's 3.4 adults 18-49 rating. The Amazing Race scored a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating, down 8% from last week's 2.6. The Good Wife tied last week's series-low 1.7 adults 18-49. The Mentalist matched last week's 1.8 adults 18-49 rating.

Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2012 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.
Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

@The Old Man
Thank you. I now feel I have been initiated properly. I must say, this site never bores me with the commentary.
And then I look at the “Tonight On Prime Time” table and remember that some shows can’t even hit 1.0…
@ BILL, How come you guys never detail UNI ratings on table? Do you hate them? :/
Football didn’t affect OUAT, Revenge, or 666 Park avenue, completely different demographics being targeted, and neither did TWD.
@K
Please.
@ Bill
And you’re neglecting the crazy “The Good Wife” fans because
“Revenge still needs to get it together FAST. It’s getting better, but needs to get rid of that aussie actor ASAP”
I can barely understand a word that guy says so I hope they do get rid of him.
“Football didn’t affect OUAT, Revenge, or 666 Park avenue, completely different demographics being targeted”
Did you miss the part about the nfl being americas game? and it was the first tie since 2008
@ Dochas
You’re welcome! So, welcome aboard!
I know, between the Max Factor & Nikita, we’re talking some serious entertainment!
@JT I guess people still assume that ABC targeted women don’t like football. Personally for me if it comes between good football and redundant fairytale, I’m going with football.
The last 4 episodes of Revenge have been amazing!!!! The show will go up to a 2.5 in the demo tomorrow. It was a horrible night for ABC and Revenge still managed to only fall two or three points in the demo. Season 3 is a sure thing. Number 4 show on ABC, I am sure it will rebound to 2.7 next week. As far as Max is concerned, he better enjoy Scandal while it lasts as it not long for this world.
Reason for OUAT low numbers? Some of the CW affiliates ran a repeat of Arrow at 8pm (well, New York and Chicago did anyway, and those are large markets), so I think everyone was watching Arrow instead.
And yes I AM kidding (before I get a zillion responses saying I’m an idiot) – Arrow really was on, but yes obviously that’s not the reason for Once’s downturn. I know for myself, I loved the show last year, this year I still like it but am not quite as enthralled as I used to be, so instead of watching it live I DVR or On Demand it and watch later in the week.
Of course it could just be the football……
@max for the love of god please stop writng ignorant comments about revenge i know that you have claimed before that you dont hate the show but the fact that you say its crap and want it be cancelled sure proves that you hate with passion stop it!! putting revenge down isn’t going to help scandals ratings, this has been going on since scandal has started your making a fool out of yourself, its like you have nothing better to do in your life. SO IM BEGGING YOU TO PLEASE STOP your making it harder for revenge fans to look at the ratings board. revenge gets better ratings because people actually like the show not because its promoted. i mean ive seen shows that rarly get promoted and still hit 3s so this has nothing to do with promotion its the fact that people like the show. scandal is the type of show that people either really love or really hate.
666ParkAve will be canceled, they should have put it on @9, with a better lead in.

And yes I AM kidding
Great sense of humor. Thanks.
Max. I honestly don’t know how you do it every week…
@Dóchas so how does that compare to a mediocre zombie show with no heart?
GOT fan here ready to strike.
Not surprised OUAT was down. Not just because of football but because that was just the worst episode of the season and maybe the worst if the series so far. I just don’t think Ruby at this point is a strong enough character for her own episode.
Is it just me or is Revenge kind if dragging the last couple weeks
666 was pretty good
And speaking of Scandal, I LOVED how during Revenge and 666 ABC FINALLY gave Scandal it’s own promo and explained what the show is actually about and not just sex, sex, sex, seduction, more sex. Makes me feel like they are actually going to try now
I think the bear would want a hippopotamus for Christmas.
Will someone fix the text? OUAT had a 3.5 last week…
666 is about to go into the negative numbers….
