Good news that Revolution didn’t adjust down, I was afraid of an overrun
Just when you thought “The Mob Doctor” couldn’t do worse, it gets adjusted down… O.o
Looks like “Fringe” will do better than it this week. Lol…
Shame the great ratings for revolution didnt last but i never thought they would. and with a HUGE hiatus coming up i predict the show will go as low as a 2.0 come may.
Why are Castle and Bones fans at each others throats? I don’t get it at all. I mean its even more stupid than the HFO and Castle stuff because not only are they different nets but different time slots!!
As for HFO – haters gonna hate but it’s only one demo point behind Elementary the last two weeks and that’s with much more competition and it beats all other ten pm shows, except for CSI. Which is not to brag about HFO but to point out – yet again – that the big issue is the collapse of the ten pm hour across the board with a few very noteable exceptions.
The big success for CBS on Mondays is Mike and Molly, which a lot of us have slated in the past but its doing very well in a very tough time slot.
At the count of 3 let’s all point at The Mob Doctor and laugh. 1, 2, 3.. Hahahaha
pff, I was pretty sure Castle will hit a new low tonight.
let’s face it: 1.9 is nothing to be happy about. Looks like it’s the new normal for ABC 10 pm shows (except PP)
The Mob Doctor would be a hit in The CW, haha!
@jose
“so much for Castle getting higher ratings than Bones thoughcan someone explain how they could all the way down to 1.9 then the half hours were 2.1/2.0?”
Final adjustments have nothing to do with the half hour numbers. Castle wasn’t shown in Pittsburgh. Not sure about Kansas City. The game was over by 10pm there, but I don’t know if they just started DWTS late.
@ Laura.
Though the demo is the same, Castle still got 3 million viewers more than Bones….
Thats crazy to think Mike and Molly had highest viewership of the CBS lineup proving it has its own small fanbase. 2 Broke Girls is losing viewers from a bad lead-in. They need to axe Partners from its lineup. I don’t know what the hold up is. Two and Half Men and Big Bang on Thursday was like Grey’s Anatomy/Desperate Housewives as a Sunday combo. Two big shows on the show night doesn’t do the network much.
I have a feeling DWTS is going to have a major shakeup next spring. Its needs an overhaul of some sort and a very dynamic new cast. I think the appeal of DWTS is seeing newbies dance to the end.
The Voice going up in the ratings is great. is the Voice now scoring higher than season 2? Mark Burnett did such a better job this fall with the show. With the battle/steals, knockouts and playoffs they narrowed the field to contestants we have seen and gotten to know very well. I know the contestants way more then in previous seasons. I expect Adriana/Micheala to be the first to go, easy call as they are weakest so to head onto a very strong top 10. Honestly Amanda had an off week with a bad song but give the girl a break she should be in the finals. My dream finale is Amanda/Cody I feel it would be a killer finale. How do u like the top 12 contestants of the Voice versus previous seasons?
The revolution ratings almost don’t matter at this point, it’s the coming back from hiatus that’ll tell us what will happen. I mean, it’s dropping, but its still a top performer. Hard to say what will happen when it comes back in march– that’s been a killer of serialized shows before but with The Walking Dead doing it (and with much fewer episodes) maybe the tide is changing and people will be more open. There’s no real way to speculate
Bones held up exceptionally well considering the staggering amount of competition. No lead in, ~5.0 rated football on ESPN, Voice, DWTS et al.. Plus, it’s followed by a show that is making the 13 episode order of Fringe look underpaid.
@danny

And when they do, I’m sure there will be dozens of commenters blaming it entirely on NBC’s stupid scheduling because they can’t accept the fact that the show has had a ratings drop nearly every episode.
Just imagine Revolution as 2 seasons, 1 is 10 episodes and the other is 12 episodes.
The hold up is that they might end HIMYM this year and if they do that they don’t want to launch 2 new comedies next year.. So they are desperately trying to give Partners a chance..
Also, 2.5 men is getting very, very expensive and in the long run they will come to a point where it’s cost will be higher than the income.
Ratings are dropping considerably. They saved it this year by pairing it with TBBT but in the long run its not a pillar any more..
Why doesn’t FOX move Fringe to mondays for it’s final run? It would certainly pull bigger numbers than Mob Doctor!
@Kourt
Castle deserved to be adjusted down. I am a fan since day one but that was a horrible horrible episode.
Personally I am going to miss Mob Doctor. It is a great idea and Jordana Spiro and William Forsythe are excellent in it. It just manages to execute poorly week after week.

Long hiatuses do not kill serialized shows!
Basically every example people give of this are shows that were falling in the ratings before the hiatus and picked up where they left off.
@Sarah
obviously a problem with Bones ratings,no adjustment at all even in total viewers? a “Première”?
