It was probably the episode babygate, cause I don’t see how a sport like that can affect a fairy tale program or a soap opera style revenge plot, especially since the first half hour wasn’t directly against the game.

@Judy912: Even if TM stayed at 1.8 or 1.9, it wouldn’t mean that it’s certain or even likely to be canceled at this point. The show is a toss up for many reasons, and it’s impossible to predict the outcome as there’s a crazy amount of variables involved. The only thing we seem to know is that CBS will cancel Partners and Vegas alongside MIJ. Then there are TM, TGW and CSI: NY that are all equally likely or unlikely to be canceled.

I’m sick and tired of this Max guy so Revenge fans, let’s trash his favorite Scandal when ratings come. What a sweet Revenge that will be.

  • Aj

Revenge held on to it’s viewers from last year!

  • AA

LOL MAX must be slitting his wrists right now. Poor guy.

Revenge is honestly one of the best shows on Network TV

  • JD

Yay Revenge! Great retention of Once’s numbers…hopefully both with be back up next week.

“Revenge is honestly one of the best shows on Network TV.”

Last year the critics’ T10 lists on Metacritic put it at #5 for network shows, after Parks and Rec/Community/Good Wife/Modern Family.

I agree with those who say Revenge is perhaps a 4-season show. At this point it’s a bit of a mystery why Emanda doesn’t destroy the Graysons when she has more than enough evidence. I guess maybe she wants to take down The Initiative, but we have no idea what they’re about so it’s hard to care that much about them, and it seems a tad unrealistic that one young woman could take down an organization of supervillains. It took her a decade to prepare just to destroy the Graysons and their allies.

One possibility that I would love would be Victoria finding out who Emanda is and even though they kinda hate each other, they agree to a detente to take down the Initative. Hopefully the show will go back to focusing mostly on them; I’m unexcited about the Grayson Global/Nolcorp and Stowaway storylines and the extraneous new characters.

i think max is not only trashing revenge but hes also making people hate scandal and giving scandal fans a bad name i dont watch scandal but i know a lot of people that watch both shows. i mean those shows r not even in a competition.

  • Patrick Gillease

Could someone please ban Max and his jealous idiocy already!! His stupid “Scandal” will be canceled by season’s end and “Revenge” will go on! We all know he’s hating on “Revenge” with the hope that “Scandal” will be moved to its timeslot. Ain’t gonna happen! “Revenge” adjusted up! Sweet ;)

  • Patrick Gillease

And for the record, this past Sunday’s episode of “Revenge” was one of the best – if not THE best – in the show’s entire run! What a whirlwind of twists and shockers! I don’t know how the writers and producers keep coming up with these great bombshells, but BRAVO !! “Revenge” is my favorite hour of TV every week. Real “popcorn”!!!

  • Patrick Gillease

@aciel…@max can you please stop with the consistant bashing this needs to stop just because you want something to be cancelled it doesnt mean other don’t. i’m curious as to how your always the first one to post

Look at all the comments Max’s crazy tirades always create! I seriously suspect Bill or Robert is realy “Max,” since only THEY could consistently be first to post after a TVBTN article is put up (since they can just tack it on as they upload the article). It’s the only explanation that makes sense. They want to rile the commenters up and increase the page views (and thus their income). Clever, since it seems to do both. Best thing is to just ignore Max and he will finally go away.

  • aciel

@patrick Gilease i guess that explains why max hasn’t been banned yet

I am really starting to enjoy 666 Park Avenue. The characters are developing and it is turning into a good mystery. It is a shame that it hasn’t gotten a chance because it has taken a while to set out the background. I encourage people to watch and give it a try. It is becoming a very interesting mystery with some great subplots.

Your attention please. It has just been announced that “Revenge is a dish BEST served cold. And NO dish BEST served cold should be viewed live.” The inescapable conclusion of this official announcement? Simple. Revenge should NOT be viewed live. I repeat: Revenge should NOT be viewed live! Thank you. We now return you to your scheduled thread.

@aciel, as noted many times, there are plenty of crazy people, we need not pretend to be them. And commenting is a trivial number of our pageviews.

Also, in general, paying no attention to Patrick Gillease’s nonsense is a good policy.

  • Mark

I agree with the posters who say the owners are posting as Max (considering he’s the first poster for every Sunday ratings release),which would mean they are breaking their rule of no sock puppetry. And if they are doing it, their not going to admit to it. If Max is a real person though I feel sorry for anyone who could be so deluded and crazy.

CBS is DESTROYING A GREAT show in The Mentalist…When CBS is done with a show {ie CSI: Miami} and has milked all the money out of it that it can it ships it off to the graveyard called 10pm Sundays{ i say that because of the overruns on Pro Football} I wish CBS would return The Mentalist on thursdays but that will never happen again or maybe switch Vegas to Sundays. Oh CBS Your a bunch of ASSCLOWNS!!!

  • Patrick Gillease

@ Aciel….me thinks I’ve hit upon the truth, or Bill/Search for Sock wouldn’t have bothered to comment. I am honored to be singled out by name. Thanks Bill/Max/Sock ;)
