Last night’s Monday Night Football game (Chiefs/Steelers) was simulcast on the ABC affiliates in Kansas City and Pittsburgh. As a result, the ABC numbers may be inflated  and subject to more than typical adjustments in the finals.

NBC was number one with adults 18-49, while ABC won with total viewers.

On NBC, The Voice earned a 4.3 down 4% from last week's 4.5 adults 18-49 rating. Revolution scored a series-low 2.6 among adults 18-49, down 7% from last week's 2.8. Your predictions were too optimistic.

On CBS, How I Met Your Mother earned a 3.0 among adults 18-49, up 7% from last week's 2.8. Partners garnered a series-low1.8 adults 18-49 rating down 14% from last week's  2.1. 2 Broke Girls scored a 3.2 among adults 18-49, even with last week. Mike & Molly earned a 3.0 adults 18-49 rating, up 7% from last week's 2.8. Hawaii Five-O notched  a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating, matching last week’s performance.

On ABC, Dancing with the Stars scored a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating, up 5% from last week's 2.1. Castle earned a 2.1, up 11% from last week's 1.9 adults 18-49 rating. However, football preemptions may have impacted these numbers.

On FOX, Bones scored a 1.9 among adults 18-49, down 5% from last week's 2.0. The Mob Doctor garnered a 0.9, down 10% from last week's 1.0 adults 18-49 rating.

On the CW, 90210 earned a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating, up 50% from last week's 0.4. Gossip Girl scored a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating, up 33% from last week's 0.3.

Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    Yes, Bones is finally dead. No way Fox bring back that. And Castle is up. Life is good.

  • Zth

    Really strange how The Voice dropped from 4.6 in the third half to 4.2 in the last one. Usually it increases by about three- four tenths or even more. Anyone has an explanation?

  • r0ckmypants

    @Hmm – Because the lead actress is terrible, and the only interesting story is told in snippets in flashback. I gave Revolution up a few weeks ago, and I clearly wasn’t the only one.

  • Zth

    Castle and DWTS will get massive adjustments downward – at least two tenths each.

  • Nick

    Too bad about Bones. One of the best episodes ever reflecting on 9/11

  • Holly

    @Geri,

    Yes, Bones is finally dead. No way Fox bring back that. And Castle is up.

    Bones is still FOX’s highest rated drama (not saying much, I know). And by the time Castle is adjusted down due to football preemptions, Bones and Castle will have nearly the same ratings.

  • Reality TV Addict

    Revolution rating will be up in the finals.

  • Chris

    How can Revolution be dead, when both the shows it’s easily beating are ‘Almost certain to be renewed”?

    Far as I’m concerned, Monday night is dead–HIMYM is losing all will to live, 2BG has almost entirely lost its first season moxie. But people will still watch those shows.

    I think I’ll just find something else to do. Network Television itself is dying, and I see no reason to prop up the corpse.

  • Sarah

    @eridapo

    “Bones 1.9 6.79/ 1.9 7.12″

    Thanks. Looks like it won’t be adjusted up. Bummer. :(

  • BigBrotherFan

    REVOLUTION-nbc are complete idiots for going with the freakin 3 MONTH break here..When it retruns I’m calling a 2.1 even out of the voice. Remember people Xtina is NOT back next cycle instead its USHER and Shikura..NOT exactly headline grabbing singers like XTina.

    CeeLo is leaving too but thats not so damaging IMO

    Wow THE MOB DR is still alive and kickin ahaha how desperate is FOX and I say this from someone who actually watches and enjoys the program. Sure it ain’t gonna win any Golden Globes but its mindless fun and Jordana Spiro is a BABE!

    PARTNERS is DONE! Its actually kind of okay. You can’t say CBS didnt give it a fair shot! SOFIA BUSH get back on my TV SCREEN again soon!!! I actually think Brandon Routh is not bad comedy wise and I enjoy his character he should do more of this stuff. The other lead (not sure what his name is and I dont feel like looking up) the shorter dude thats with Sophias character is great, too! I kinda enjoy it. OH GREAT CANT WAIT FOR MORE FREAKIN BIG BANG THEROY RERUNS…YAWN…….AGH I do not see the appeal with that show AT ALL. I laughed more times at freakin TIM ALLENS comedy than that crap!

  • Steph

    @Geri

    Bones is coming back next season.

  • Tihomir

    BURNNNNNNNN for Revolution.

  • Sam

    Haha. :)
    Revolution is doing great . It is the highest rated show NBC has, so even if it loses more, it is still a hit for NBC. And crashing the competition. It a sure renewal. Go Revolution!!
    Not a fan of Castle but the show is keeping numbers after the lead in , a pretty weak one, that proves it has a loyal audience. Then is ABC, so Castle is doing good for them,
    But HFO is the big loser at 10 pm. It has a great lead in from Mike&Molly but drops as a rock after it. The 7 million viewers for a cop drama on CBS is just hilarious to read LOL. CBS should had canceled it when it failed to deliver the same number CSI Miami was getting. This was expected, the show has been trending down since the premiere 2 years ago.

  • melbye

    With the 4 month break Revolution is in trouble.

  • CrimTV

    lol Everyone thinks Revolution will fall a lot after the hiatus even though shows go on a 4 month hiatus over the Summer.

  • Oliver

    @eridapo

    Something to do with Chiefs vs Steelers, perhaps?

  • Sarah

    @Kyle

    Thanks.

  • M.L.

    Why in the world is “Partners” still on the air?

  • joel

    I’ve also given up Revolution multiple times only to manually record just one more episode. Once I heard news of the three month hiatus I figured I can make it just three more episodes until the hiatus and see if they have a good enough cliffhanger to justify coming back to the show in the spring.

    I think the long hiatus’s on shows like Revolution and The Event is actually a good strategy for NBC that retains more viewers.

  • Todd

    Hawaii Five-0 is having a great season this year – much better than last! Too bad the numbers don’t reflect that thanks to the weaksauce incompatible line-up CBS has stuck it with!
