Brit Teen Sensation Cher Lloyd to Perform

on an All-New Thanksgiving Night Results Show

Thursday, November 22

Tonight, on the LIVE results show, and in a shocking double elimination, Jennel Garcia, one of Demi Lovato’s Young Adults and Lyric 145, one of Simon Cowell’s Groups, were eliminated from The X Factor. Hosts Khloé Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez announced that Lyric 145 received the fewest votes following last night's performance show, immediately eliminating them from the competition. Then it was revealed that Garcia and Paige Thomas both received the next fewest votes. Judges Simon Cowell, Lovato, L.A. Reid and Britney Spears listened to the two finalists each perform their “song for survival,” and after deliberation, Garcia was sent home. Also tonight, this week’s individual vote rankings were revealed, from the bottom 10th act to the No. 1 vote-getter.

Earlier in the show, six-time Grammy Award-winning megastar Taylor Swift performed her newest hit song “State of Grace.”

Next week, on Wednesday, Nov. 21 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), The X Factor finalists: Teens – Beatrice Miller, Arin Ray, Carly Rose Sonenclar and Diamond White; Young Adults – CeCe Frey and Paige Thomas; Over 25s – Vino Alan and Tate Stevens; and Groups – Emblem3 and Fifth Harmony – perform LIVE for America’s votes.

Immediately after the performance show, fans will be able to vote via 1) Verizon Touch Voting on The Xtra Factor App on Verizon Android devices; 2) toll-free calling; 3) text messaging for Verizon Wireless customers; and 4) online at TheXFactorUSA.com. Fans with valid Facebook accounts can also vote at Facebook.com/TheXFactorUSA.

On Thursday, Nov. 22 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), tune in for a special Thanksgiving night episode with a performance by Brit teen sensation Cher Lloyd. Then, Khloé and Mario will announce the acts that made the cut in an all-new “Live Results” episode.

The indomitable Cher Lloyd burst onto the music scene more than a year ago with her Unforgettable vocals, rap skills and genre-bending performances on the U.K. version of “The X Factor,” all of which garnered more than 400 million YouTube views. On her Top Five U.K. debut album, “Sticks & Stones,” released in November 2011, the 19-year-old phenom earned a No. 1 single with “Swagger Jagger.”

Lloyd’s assault on America began earlier this year with the release of her debut – and Top 10 – single, “Want U Back,” which has sold more than 1.6 million copies. The video for the song has logged nearly 38 million views. She’s launched a second single, “Oath,” featuring Becky G., with a video that already has garnered nearly seven million views. Additionally, Lloyd has nearly three million Twitter followers, plus a loyal and ever-growing fanbase who proudly call themselves “brats.”

CeCe went from #12 last week to #5th tonight!!! So happy and excited!!! #WarriorForLife

  • Birdsht

Excited about d grade singers in the worst karaoke competition short of the US version of The Voice? Try watching the UK or AU versions and see what it could be like. There is not one contestant on that show that stands a snowballs chance in hell of any future in the public eye. Britanny Spears needs to spend some of those millions on her tweak damaged teeth that are ground down to chicklets.

  • Harry

How can CC be on 5th.She cant sing.I demand a vote count.

  • Jonathan

@Birdsht Obviously you have no seen her teeth lol They are like perfect. Haters they gonna hate…

  • RyanCanada

lol britbey has her whole team left, while everyone else is down to two acts left

  • Nick

I can’t believe Britney has her whole team left. That’s pretty amazing. She seems like a much better mentor behind the scenes than she is a TV personality. Seems like Demi, Simon and LA are more camera people while Britney is not. Makes me like her tbh. I like how quiet and short she is on this show. It shows that she doesn’t have to open her mouth to prove that she knows what she’s doing.

  • JONNYSBRO

I agree Britney is a really good mentor behind the scenes. I think there is something Britney has on Demi is Britney is a girl who got into this biz at a young age and at 16 in 1999 launched Baby Baby One More Time and became the most famous person in the world. She had tons and tons of fame and is able to really give this back to her kids whereas Demi IMO has alot to learn. She hasn’t had the massive fame/hit records Britney has had and I think is still elarning her way through the business. Demi is a much better judge not mentoring and Britney is a better mentor than judge. As weird as Britney’s couple lines are there is something charming about her and not forced.

I want either Diamond or Jullian to win.

  • Jack S

    Who is Jullian?

Why does the best singer in the competition, Carly, keep getting pipped. Sigh, Americans and their country music. Excited to see Cher Lloyd perform next week.

  • Mike

CeCe stayed because she got the “pimp slot”.

  • mike

If I were Demi Jillian, Jennel, and Nick Youngerman would of been my top 3. I would have took CeCe to live shows and then sent her home. Demi has no clue what she’s doing.

  • mike

The fact that Paige is the top 10 as more proof this show is a train wreck.

  • Diego

Hope Beatrice Diamond and Paige go far on this show! They’re the ones who deserve to win, not tate and vino
