  • Brian

    Congrats to the nominees!!!
Very happy, Nathan, Stana, Castle made it. And Alex O.L and Hawaii got nothing. Zero!! Haha to all the small group of old ladies, fan of Alex that come here each Tuesday to bad mouth Castle and Revolution. U didn’t even get him nominated. Lets see who u blame now, Thanksgiving, Sports, lead in. Ha Ha Ha.

  • karin

    Weird

  • Porcelina

Personal opinion: Darren Criss should have been in this list, somewhere. I mean, c’mon, the guy is funny, talented, super (megafoxyawesome) hot, and besides he’s DARREN FREAKIN’ CRISS!!! …need I say more??? Lol, but all joking aside, he is my favorite actor, ’cause he’s like super-humble.

  • Ian

In my honest opinion all award shows are awful. They only rely on popular taste ecspecially the Emmy’s, Grammy’s, and sometimes Golden Globes. For example Revenge and Once Upon a Time where the best new dramas on tv last year in my opinion and many others. And they didn’t get a nomination at the Emmy’s, it’s ridiculous! Another fantastic example is Buffy the Vampire Slayer hailed as one of the best and sometimes the best show of all time (and my favorite ever). It never got a nomination for best drama at the Globes or Emmy’s the only nominations it got were once for best actress at the Globes for Gellar and one Emmy nomination for the episode “Hush” for best writing I think. Many have suffered this fate and that’s why mainstream award shows like the Emmy’s, Globes, Grammy’s, People’s Choice, and many others are bull. Yes I know that Revenge and Once have received nominations for the People’s Choice but not for the award shows that count. That’s why I hate all award shows.

  • Ian_so_gay

PCA is a joke… @Ian just because you’re a fan of those ridiculous shows doesnt mean it deserves any nomination… once Upon a Time for best Drama Series instead of Mad Men, Homeland, Boardwalk and Breaking Bad…really?…I dont think so

  • lucy

nominations for a People’s Choice award is as important as an egg

  • James

I don’t understand how Blue Bloods has not been nominated for Best TV crime drama.

  • brian I

    Revenge!

  • Networkman

Why are there so many nominees for Favorite New Drama? Can’t it be cut down to the top 5? IMO, only Arrow, Elementary, Last Resort, Nashville and Revolution should be considered. I am glad that Once Upon a Time and Revenge got recognized for Best Drama but was surprised to see Person of Interest not considered. I do feel most of the voters are from a certain age group. That would explain why Gossip Girls is included in the bunch. And why many of the nominees in the music categories are weak. I really hope we don’t see Justin Bieber considered when it comes time for Grammys.

  • JD

Really weird…like three different Drama categories (broadcast, cable, premium cable)and same for comedy, so pretty much any show worth something has a chance to get nominated. Breaking Bad still somehow managed to not be, I guess because a lot of them are idiots.

  • Chan

Okay guys, let’s put things into perspective here. 93 million votes were cast for the nominees (as specified in this article), and there are 48 categories to vote in. Let’s say that one person voted in every category just 2 times.
    48 categories x 2 votes = 96 votes
    93,000,000votes/96 votes= (only) 968,750 voters
The population in America is well over 300 million, and I’m sure that a good portion of them has a television. So, when dumb polls like the People’s Choice Awards collect opinions from a few voters, probably all of the same age and gender, mine and many others’ favourite television shows are taken off the air. I’m sure that I am one of the few teenage guys who even looks at this site. I’m so mad that Person of Interest did not make the nominees, and so were a lot of my friends when I told them! Gosh, it’s so nice to have a new show come out with a new take on crime, with good morals! To the producers of Person of Interest: keep making this AWESOME show!!

  • Marilyn

Congrats go to Castle and Dancing With the Stars

  • SlyFox

Nina Dobrev??? Nominated for best drama actress in a TV drama??? HAHAHAHAHAHA! ROFL! They should create the worst drama actress on TV category and then nominate her for it. She is by far the weakest drama actress on TV. She has two expressions… pouty with head leaning on the left and pouty with head leaning on the right. She is painful to watch. Also, The Vampire Diaries should be nomimated as a comedy because the show is a joke.
