In its ninth season, Grey's Anatomy is still one of television's highest rated dramas. Its ratings are fairly volatile. So far this season, they have ranged from a high of a 4.4. adults 18-49 rating (for the season premiere) to a low of a 3.0. Last week, the show garnered a 3.3 adults 18-49 rating. How do you think it will do tonight?

Last week’s Meredith and Cristina-centeric episode meant Classic Grey’s was back.
More will tune in if they keep that up.
Take note, Shonda.
Grey’s needs to leap forward a few years. Some of their actresses are really beginning to look their real age.
Greys anatomy even though being on 9th season still manages to be interesting and worth watching , for me the show’s worst season was 7…
This season our favourite interns are finally doctors and we have a totally new point of view because of that. that gives the show a big breath to go on for a couple more years without being boring…
As for PoI fans and greys haters , i ll just remind you that greys anatomy in its 2nd season averaged 20 million viewers and 6.0 18-49 ratio. so when PoI gets that many viweres and 18-49 demo , you can come again…
@Peter
You can’t compare this season’s ratings to those from 7 years ago. Back then, there weren’t as many cable channels offering a variety of shows.
THE LAST RESORT: 1.2
GREYS: 3.0
SCANDAL: 1.9
I’m pretty sure that The X Factor will recover this week after last week’s series low . I think it will get a 7.00 and a 2.6 and help Glee to get back at a 6.50 and a 2.5 For Grey’s Anatomy, I hope for 10.00 and a 3.5
I’ll support the crazed GA fan & go with a 3.1-3.2, but it will be toast sooner rather than later
Go POI!
@ peter
See the Gunsmoke Rule
Glad to finally see a Grey’s Anatomy poll! I’d say it’ll be somewhere between a 3.2 and a 3.4.

Actually, Grey’s Anatomy‘s second season averaged an 8.9; it didn’t drop as low as 6.0 until season five. Gunsmoke Rule applies here, but even in today’s day and age, Grey’s Anatomy‘s ninth season is still pulling better numbers than Person of Interest‘s second season.
^ Yet the crazy POI fans think their show is doing so well. CBS has been hyping this show to death and it’s been nothing more than a modest performer.
@Peter: Not all POI fans are idiots. I’ve been saying the same thing, but I do think POI is awesome. Grey’s has actually gotten better this season even without my favorite Lexi. And Mark, of course.
3.1 for both shows. Greys will likely adjust up.
I’d say a 3.0. And as final rating a 3.1
