Stewart and Colbert are comedians. They’ll be the first to tell you. Stewart has more writers on his show that could fill the studio audience if no one showed up at the door.
—————————
I never said they are journalists, I said they are as much of a journalist(or a legitimate source of news) then anybody who has a show on MSNBC or Fox, their is a difference.
Michael Giondomenico
People that watch anything on MSNBC must be using it as a night light…Mindless…They Don’t report the facts and truth…Its the Obama Network..for the libs..MG, I take it you have a problem with that? Well, we Libs. don’t. You have your Fox and its night light…Mindless…Don’t report the facts and the truth “Was” …The R and R duo Network. As we were told in 2000 and ’04, “Deal with it”, MG, just “Deal with it.”

66er’s link to ‘I Think I Love You’ by the Partridge Family
this board needs some love.@tzca don’t click on this song you won’t be able to get it out of your head. lol
*******
It’s the chorus. I can’t explain it. I think it’s the transition into the chorus that seems like its shifting key, so it sticks in the head, kinda like the Smurf’s tune.

You and your leftwing rags are a*ses.
=====================
Name calling is the last refuge of the scoundrel. It usually indicates the inability to defend a position.
good afternoon everybody
I am quoting you from now on Gabe

In so doing, just be warned his quotes might be derived from 18th century British folk expressing adamant opposition to American Independence (and the Patriotism therein). In simpler terms, replace ‘Name calling’ with ‘Patriotism’.
TZCA,
I am keeping it simple, next time someone calls me a right wing idiot I am quoting Gabe. I disagree with him like Mark and some others but he makes his good points.
@Bobbyv
Understood.
A while back I enjoyed a generic conversation with Gabriel (I think it was Gabriel) and Matthew about our current fiscal policies and it involved references to the thunderdome and the french revolution. Though I don’t agree with either of them in principle, the conversation was fun and they both made good points.
On the topic of ideological idiots, I just spent a few hours reading posts on some liberal sites, including but limited to Media Matters. The vitriol from the left is no less than they claim comes from the right. They just tend to mask it with fancy words to appear more educated, and then use this elevated sense of intellect over the perceived neanderthals on the right to validate their vitriol as educated fact. Once you get past the entertainment value of their silliness, it’s actually quite sad. A case study for Dunning-Kruger theory.
^not limited to Media Matters
TZCA,
That is my biggest frustration, each side thinks only the other side does the bad stuff. I find it funny that people continue to criticize Fox when they have most of the media on their side. Not that Fox is above being criticized, but you cannot complain about media bias while ignoring the bias that is overwhelmingly in your favor.
I should add, you CAN complain about anything, it’s a free country, meaning I can complain about the complainers. Clear as mud?
@Bobbyv
Absolutely. Both sides are at fault for bias, as well as misrepresenting information. Both sides have been caught red handed editing videos. One side seems to apologize, the other side seems to pretend to apologize.

Clear as mud?
*******
Yup, with only a few small pebbles.
I am a broken record with this but Phil highlighted it yesterday (I think it was Phil) with his criticism of Condi Rice. When an African American woman on the Republican side is criticized it’s a policy thing, but criticism of Susan Rice is immediately a racist thing, at least according to some. Time for us all to have the same standard.
@Bobbyv
You’re not the broken record. Those who want to make every topic an issue of racism are the broken records. It’s getting old. And yes, it is time for us all to have the same standard.
RED STATE GOVERNORS (Jindal, Perry, Kashich) ARE EMBRACING OBAMACARE, seems the idiots at Papa Johns and other cheap-o CEO’s are going to fold eventually as well, like a cheap suit.
