@Pete S
“2 years ago, on this site, i pointed out that this site TVByTheNumbers clearly stated that total viewer numbers were the most important. soon after i pointed this out, this site erased that claim from their “numbers 101? section. wonder what ever changed that.”
Is your mind making up delusions so that your fictional world can exist in the real world?
FOX beat MSNBC is every time slot. What is all of the celebrating about?
Is it because your person did not get beat as bad as normal ? No need to celebrate that, wait until you win to celebrate. Gee
Wow I can not believe that you will not post my comment because you do not agree with it. Gee
Looks like another crazy person has found the website!!!

Anthony P. (AP076), no offense buddy, but you’re 100% wrong. what i said a few pages back was completely accurate. under the name “c2believe” i had a short back n forth with Bill (could’ve been Robert but i believe it was Bill) over 2 years ago about the claim stated in numbers 101 (total viewers being the most important) and i was told something along the lines of it being incorrect and it would be changed. it was. W(hy)TF would i make that up? HOPEFULLY BILL GORMAN OR ROBERT WHATSHISNAME SEES THIS AND VERIFIES THAT NUMBERS 101 ON THIS SITE DID MAKE THE CLAIM WHICH WAS CHANGED.
only reason why i brought it back up anyway is because everyone on here that brags about demo numbers seems to be the advertisers themselves. why else would they be bragging about demo #s anyway? i’m kinda being sarcastic but also making a petty point. gotta nephew to bring home…bbl. good talking anthony. i do have much respect for you.
RedBS…..you’re full of it.
Does the miniscule number of viewers of CNBC programming constitute a cult following? LOL
Lol,
Pete now that I think of it I can almost remember a discussion of updating something stated in ratings 101 but again Robert or Bill wold have to clarify and they rarely dip their toes in the murky waters here.
I suppose it is possible it once gave more focus to total viewers but I really thought the importance of demo viewing was a founding principle for this site and obviously now part of secret of success in how this site predicts renewals and cancellations (of scripted shows).
I always thought the chest thumping by either side over ratings was a bit too much. Simple observations of what is up or down and speculation of why (Apple does this best) is often what my eyes focus on. The world of cable news is hardly the spot for frequent cancellations based on ratings successes or failures so really why brag at all. Fox is obviously at the top of the heap with some recent weakening, MSNBC is consistently second and in no danger of going anywhere despite the righties on this site claiming it would for years.
Alas CNN is a bit of a ratings disaster. I enjoy it most for news coverage and breaking news coverage and thought they had the best and most balanced election night coverage. That having been said 3 hours of Wolfe daily, that Piers even has his own show, and that they repeat Anderson’s show twice nightly are sufficient reasons to limit my viewing hours there.

Those states choosing not to set up the exchanges are not giving up their rights. In fact its just the opposite. Their using their right not to set them up. It takes money to set the exchange up & keep it running. I’ll bet some states that choose to set them up will end up losing money.
If they let the Fed govt set them up & run them, then its the Fed govt place to pay for it & deal with any unhappy customers. Look at Fed govt health care programs today. States took those programs & it costs them money. Why get involved in another one?
What do most reasonable folks say is bankrupting America? Entitlement spending. So what was Nobama’s idea to solve the problem? Create another Entitlement.
As Ratboy says..You can’t fix stupid.
Watch in coming years (when obamacare is in full effect) how the young folks will vote for anybody who will repeal the law. They (well some) think its a free deal. Wait until they file their taxes & find out their refund if $750 short. They can’t get a 40 hour a week job (Maybe 30 depending on what the law considers a full time worker) & have to get by on 29 to 38 hours a week. If their return don’t cover the fine the govt will find another way to take their money.
Those who do have 40 hour a week jobs will see their taxes go up to pay for Obamacare. Maybe they will finally learn nothing is free.

Fox News Only Cable Net To Cover President Obama’s Remarks On Israel At Thailand Presser
On Saturday morning, President Obama held a joint news conference with Thailand Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, at which both heads of state answered the familiar pattern of two questions each from the U.S. media and the local press. MSNBC and CNN each carried the opening remarks from President Obama and the Prime Minister, but they each dipped out of the coverage only part of the way through the questions and answers. Only Fox News stuck around to hear the President address the violence in Gaza that has been brought on by intense missile attacks on Israel.
