CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR TACKLES BEST OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL ON FRIDAY, NOV. 23

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR presents BEST OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL 2012 on Friday, Nov. 23 (1:30-2:30PM, ET).  Hosted by CBS Sports’ lead college football game reporter Tracy Wolfson, the program looks at the biggest stories and most exciting finishes of the year, including a countdown of the top plays of 2012 in college football. The show features Matt Barkley, Geno Smith, the best traditions in college football and the explosion of offense across the sport. CBS Sports’ Julie Keryc serves as coordinating producer.

 

 

LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY IS LIT UP WITH LUCAS OIL OFF ROAD RACING ON CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR ON SATURDAY, NOV. 24

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series heads to Las Vegas, Nev. for the LUCAS OIL OFF ROAD PRO2 & PRO4 races under the stars on CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR on Saturday, Nov. 24 (1:30-2:30PM, ET; taped 9/23).  The Pro4 and Pro2 trucks hit the track as Pro4 class’s Kyle Leduc and brother Todd Leduc race toward the championship.  Kyle is only 19 points ahead of Todd with only two races left.  There is a three way battle in the Pro2 championship class between 2011 Pro2 champion Brian Deegan, 2010 Pro2 champion Rob MacCachren, and Marty Hart.  Deegan leads MacCachren by 13 points and Hart by 15 points.  Ken Stout, Cameron Steele, Jeremy McGrath and Keli Snyder call the action for CBS Sports.  CBS Sports’ Ryan Galvin serves as coordinating producer.

 

 

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR PICTURES ITSELF WITH KALEIDOSCOPE ICE ON SUNDAY, NOV. 25

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR presents KALEIDOSCOPE ON ICE on Sunday, Nov. 25 (5:00-6:00 PM; 3:00-4:00 PM in late NFL markets; taped 11/14/12) from Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, N.C.  The show features Olympic and World Champion figure skaters including 2010 Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek, Olympic silver medalist Nancy Kerrigan, Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen, four-time world champion Kurt Browning and Olympic silver medalist Paul Wylie, as well as chart-topping musical talent. Special musical performances by breakout American pop rock duo and American Music Award winner Karmin and country music chart-topping star Jana Kramer add to the celebration. The one-hour special is hosted by Carrie Keagan of VH1’s “The Big Morning Buzz.”  CBS Sports’ Verne Lundquist and Scott Hamilton call the action.  CBS Sports’ Jason Ross serves as coordinating producer.
