Last night’s Monday Night Football game (Bears/49ers) was simulcast on the CBS affiliate in San Francisco. As a result, the CBS numbers may be inflated  and subject to more than typical adjustments in the finals.

NBC was number one with adults 18-49, while ABC won with total viewers.

On NBC, The Voice earned a 3.7, down sharply from last week's 4.4 adults 18-49 rating. Revolution was even with last week's 2.6 among adults 18-49. Your predictions were too optimistic.

On CBS, How I Met Your Mother was even with last week's 3.0 among adults 18-49. 2 Broke Girls scored a 3.4, up two tenths from last week's 3.2 among adults 18-49. Mike & Molly earned a 2.9, down a tenth from last week's 3.0 adults 18-49 rating. Hawaii Five-O notched a 2.2, up a tenth from last week's 2.1 adults 18-49 rating.

On ABC, Dancing with the Stars scored a 2.3, up two tenths from last week's 2.1. Castle earned a 2.0, up a tenth from last week's 1.9 adults 18-49 rating.

On FOX, Bones scored a 2.0, up a tenth from last week's 1.9 among adults 18-49. The Mob Doctor garnered a 0.9, also up a tenth from last week's 0.8 adults 18-49 rating.

Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Always amazes me the number of people actually giddy over a show’s demise (or potential demise). It is like some sort of personal affirmation or something.

I guess the anonymity of the internet breeds all kinds.

bluejays is an awful poster I wish that dude would start posting under a different name.

Please don’t confuse Bluejays, the mature commenter who provides proficient feedback, with Bluejay1972, the rabid The Voice fan that insults anyone that does not worship his beloved show.

WOW at the CW. Just to show your just how bad their numbers actually are. ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, which is in its 5th season and aired its mid-season finale in August, aired a special holiday episode last night at 8 that got 1.6 million viewers and a 0.7 demo. CW would kill for those numbers.

Yes BOnes looks very good.so Happy!!Bones is my number one!!!

  • Nate

    @ pll fan

CW might love to have those numbers but ABC Family would kill to have the money that CW is making off of those two shows.

  • aiden

BLA BLA BLA! Why is there always one who has to chime in with this and act superior? We want shows to fail. We hate them. Get over it.

I am afraid the Voice is starting to turn to ‘THE PRETTY PEOPLE”…why else would the Martinez girl be in the top 8….She has basically NO VOICE ! Just cute.

  • Networkman

CBS smart move in putting a repeat of Two & A Half Men at 8:30pm to garner over a 2.0 demo paid off in helping 2 Broke Girls increase.

90210 should be cancelled at the end of the season. And it is definately time for Castle to be moved. While it may slip in demo, its total viewership will help out another night. If it already has an older loyal audience, it may be exactly what is needed to plug the hole on Thursday @8pm. Friday after Shark Tank is another option.
