I’m glad you survived the day, and hopefully you actually enjoyed yourself and were able to count some blessings.
I was fortunate to spend the day with 20+ people I’d never met and who all shared a dismay at the results of November 7 elections (I’m in southern California, mind you), but we also all enjoyed ourselves and gave thanks for our many blessings.
Keep the faith, brother. You’re not alone.

hey Mark 1 (not mark 2 aka jr) thanx for the advice on certain word usage. i’m aware of posts disappearing because of certain words just from hearing others mentioning it now & then. my problem has been ebay lately so i deleted cookies etc which deleted my name & email from this site. i typed a fairly long post this morning and submitted comment before noticing my name & email missing which directed me to a blank page that says something about not entering my name etc. when i backspaced my post was gone. completely my fault for not noticing my name not there. i was aggravated so i didn’t attempt to repost.
Yay!! i gotta job. started a couple weeks ago. it really isn’t hard to find work. i had driven around for a while one day looking at all the industrial areas thinking it would be abit scary trying to apply somewhere knowing i’d not stand a chance because of no experience with hardly anything. my skills are limited. so i finally stopped at 1 place, a furniture store and bam. i’ve gotta job now bringing in decent money on top of ebay money & wife’s pay. Because of my kids i’ve gladly accepted help with food (EBT) over the past but i can proudly say with all the ups n downs in my lifetime i’ve never once collected unemployment or welfare help beyond food. food is freakin expensive. who the hell in the small wage world can afford the good stuff anymore?
