The Voice, Parenthood, Dancing with the Stars, and Private Practice were each adjusted up a tenth while Go On, Happy Endings, and The New Normal were each adjusted down a tenth among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Tuesday broadcast ratings.

A new series low for The New Normal. Can’t say I’m surprised. It’s just not a good show. The characters and the writing is ridiculous. It’s an unfunny, stereotype-laden show (much like Glee) that does not deserve a second season but will probably get one because people think Ryan Murphy is revolutionary and groundbreaking when in reality he probably does more harm than good for minority people. Yes, he puts them on our screens but only to reinforce the same tired old stereotypes and then he has other characters belittle and mock the minorities regularly. No thanks. Not interested in garbage like that.

I assure you, Bill doesn’t think about Emily Owens enough to particularly care about it much less have it in for it.
Happy Endings and Dont Trust the B are both hilarious shows, but the problem is they just aren’t ABC shows. The only kind of comedies that typically do well for ABC are heart-warming stuff about families, a young skewing show with lots of dirty jokes and quirky zaniness just doesn’t mesh with their audience. Same reason Cougar Town didn’t do well on ABC, if CT ends up doing well at TBS I guess there’s a chance one of these shows could follow them there.

Why is it that HOD fans (^as few as they are – just look at the ratings^) keeps on belittling EOMD?! HOD got the same (flop) ratings like EOMD when it just starting last year – insecure much huh…

I love Parenthood. Last nights episode was incredible. I hope it goes up next week.
Give it time… for Emily Owens to catch up… when cctually the doctor in EOMD is the one who looked & act like a “real doctor” whereas in HOD who just looks like some member of a cheering squad who keeps on flunking her subjects.

Thanks. I had checked two websites that give parent reviews but no one said much about that movie. One site didn’t review it at all.
GO was great. Thought RH was okay. A23 wasn’t as good as usual (it can be pretty funny sometimes). HE was fun but still not the best (my fave is still the Valentines episode). NG was good. I think I was on “Thanksgiving episode overload” on hulu, lol – they all did something with it this week. I’m almost sick of turkey now and I haven’t even had mine yet! Still need to catch up on TNN, Mindy and BAK while putting up the tree today and tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving, all.
Despite horrible numbers, especially for ABC comedies, they shouldnt be hasty in pulling the shows, a 3 way comedy competition is hard on every show and unfortunately save for the NBC comedies (because of The Voice) all are losers.
