Josh Krajcik became nationally known as a finalist on THE X FACTOR, and was the runner-up on the singing competition series’ first season. Originally from Columbus, OH, Krajcik got his start singing in bars at the age of 15. After playing in several bands, including the Josh Krajcik Band, a three-piece blues-rock outfit that toured with the likes of Corinne Bailey Rae and The Fray, Krajcik auditioned for THE X FACTOR in 2011. He went on to become one of the top finalists, earning a spot in the Over 30s category mentored by Season One judge Nicole Scherzinger.

Since his success on THE X FACTOR, Krajcik has been touring nationally and writing and recording tracks for his debut solo album that pair his powerful vocals with intensely passionate, soul-infused songwriting. His single, “One Thing She’ll Never Know,” will be released next week and the full-length album will be out in the spring of 2013. Krajick has teamed up with premier songwriter/producers on the album, including Eg White (Adele, Pink, Florence and the Machine), Steve Kipner (Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson), Chris Seefried (Haley Reinhart, Lana Del Rey) and Steve Robson (Lily Allen, Rascal Flatts, James Morrison).

X FACTOR is a great show !!! the voice AKA cant make/find a star , is so boring to me . . . . . just my opinion

  • Glue

I Love the x factor so much! I Hated Last nights elimination. Poor Beatrice Miller. I Love her. She deserved to stay.

    Can’t wait for Josh Krajcik!

  • @carloslabarca

the x factor is AMAZING… i cant understand the low raiting!

  • Helen

Miller should have been the one to stay. Cece discredited herself at the beginning of Xfactor with her bullying and trying to make others feel inferior, and now teying to reverse that by acting pitiful and innocent. Heaven forbid if she should win because I see the evil one reappearing! Sorry Cece but the American public doesn’t like bullies, and they are smart enough to see through you. I know its a singing competition but for some reason I’m not blown away by your voice. I understand that God gives us talent, but how we use it is up to us! GO HOME, we are tired of you!

  • Kavyn

@Helen Thank you for teaching me that television editing defines people. And here I thought people could be different from what Fox edits and defines a person to be.

  • quban

How is diamond below vino or emblem 3. Tate and carly are great but tate ain’t that good diamond and carly are the best. But diamond is black and I belive people hate to see blacks on top. Eventhough carly is great. Tate can poop on stage and he still will be @ the top. Good Day white america

  • James

Flop show, the worst show on tv, horrible judges

  • HotLatino4GayMarriage

Is Melanie Amaro a star? Lol the XF USA cannot make a star, the XF UK is a whole ‘nother show so dont use it to justify XF USA’s poor performance!

  • Sam

@quban Let’s not prematurely use the race card, ok? They’re all great. I think Tate’s advantage is simply him being the lone country star.

At this point, there isn’t much difference in popularity points with the people at the top. Remember, Mario Lopez said Vino and Emblem 3 are only separated by half a % point, if that. And, Diamond probably isn’t that much below them.

@Hot Latino As far as I know, Melanie’s in some kind of development boot camp right now. There were stars made from last season. Marcus Canty came out with a few singles that I heard on the radio and saw him on my local station a few times promoting something. Chris Rene ranked in the Top40 on Itunes with his “Young Homie” song. And Rachel Crow has a contract now on Disney or Nick.

The main issue here IMO is that there’s just too many of these shows on the air as a whole. Even people who could have been big stars 10 years ago by winning on these shows don’t have much of a chance now because there are too many of them coming out at once.

  • Kangarookeeper

The Voice has a star in the making in Cassadee Pope who has been #1 on iTunes for the last 4 days. X-Factor USA is so bad it’s hilarious.

  • Ken

I think Tate and Diamond are light years beyond all the others, and hope they are the final two standing. But I’m 76 yrs old. I agree with those who think all the judges are all bruised up from hugging themselves too much. They take up so much time in the hour show. jmho Ken

Let’s see. A live X-FACTOR + new GLEE on Thanksgiving Night against holiday reruns and NFL Football = a network that’s definitely in trouble this season after losing 29% of 18-49 from last year. Must be very daunting for FOX to make THE X-FACTOR almost as likable as THE VOICE, or trying to get viewers excited about GLEE again when we know GLEE’s relevance is long gone (plus a very likely candidate for cancellation this season).

  • Raul

all the haters about x factor ? why in the hell did yall come on this page when it says ”X FACTOR ELIMINATIONS” go your own way and kiss christinas flop CD’S a$$ that makes 2 times in a row for her btw :):):):):):):)

  • Jay

Yep you are totally correct people don’t like seeing blacks on top that’s why we don’t have a black president…oh wait.

  • mark

to the person who said Cassadee Pope was #1 on iTunes so that makes her a star…. well. Hey Monday (the band she was in) was not a hit. One song on iTunes at #1 doesn’t make you a star. The show has had multiple people hit the top of iTunes and that didn’t do anything for them. So, yeah.

  • Jay1997

Personally I love the show!! I think some of these singers are being lead down a path according to what their mentors “think” they should be, they should be brought back to what got them in the competition in the first place! While yes they need guidance, not complete transformations. As for eliminations, the cute little boy band trio “Emblem 3″ should have been eliminated, Beatrice Miller in my mind should have stayed, there’s something unique about her voice … I really don’t think we’ve seen the last of her (or at least I hope not)!

  • jazzie2

I can’t stomach the X factor. All of the judges make me gag–except maybe Britney. I’ve only watched pieces of it. Certainly has to be a little better since Paula and the other phoney cry-baby are gone.

  • Penny

@jazzie2 Britney doesn’t make you gag? She looks like a tranny.

  • jazzie2

OK, they all make me change the channel…..gagging

  • Renata

Helen, you said it all. Period. Can’t agree with you more.
