Due to the nature of live sports programming the ratings for ABC and FOX ( College Football) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers.
ABC was number one last night with adults 18-49 and with total viewers.
On ABC, College Football (Notre Dame/USC) scored a preliminary 4.4 adults 18-49 rating, way up from last week's 2.2.
On FOX, College Football (Stanford/UCLA) notched a preliminary 0.5 adults 18-49 rating, down from last week's 0.8
On CBS, 48 Hours earned a 0.7, down four tenths from last week's 1.1. Made In Jersey earned a 0.3, a far cry from its last original's 0.8 rating (which aired back in October, before the series was canceled).

Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

wow made in jersey is so low it doesnt deserve to get a burnoff i want to see a partners burnoff.
Football is killing all network shows this year. wont know till after super bowl how network shows are doing.
wow HUGE for College Football
I’ve enjoyed the generation long irrelevance of Notre Dame football. Sadly, it is at an end.
“Football is killing all network shows this year. wont know till after super bowl how network shows are doing.”
Most network shows do their worst in the spring so the end of football never helps other shows.
“wont know till after super bowl how network shows are doing.”
Huh?
ESPN has to be thrilled that Notre Dame is in the title game.
That 4.4 for ABC is the best it’s had for a 3-hr slate in some time
MIJ in Nikita country & CBS best in show is a paltry 0.7
NBC IJ 0.9 not bad for a Sat, I suppose
ONLY UPSIDE is at least there was a selection of programming, for what it’s worth
Well Made in Jersey did very well! I’m really happy hopefully it will be given full season by CBS and move to Fridays again, or perhaps CW will pick it up, SO MANY OPTIONS!
“ESPN has to be thrilled that Notre Dame is in the title game.”
I believe that for the next month and a half SportsCenter is being renamed to “Notre DameIsInTheBCSChampionshipCenter”
if bcs champ game alabama/notre dame = most watched espn game ever.
ND vs Bama would be enormous. Maybe 30 million viewers which would break the previous cable record.
ABC has to be thrilled that this game beat the big showdown on CBS between Alabama/LSU. I think that game had a 4.1 and 12 million viewers in the final ratings. This looks like a 4.8 and 15 million adjustment.
How many episodes of MIJ are left now?
Why isn’t the Championship game between Notre Dame and Ohio St which are the only unbeaten teams.
@Crim TV
I hope your being sarcastic because it will not a full season and its already been cancelled so no chance but i’m glad it is being burned off because I really like it and what do you think about it
@bill gorman. our sports crazy country is beating up network shows on saturdays and sundays with college and nfl football. best nights for network are monday-fridays until the college bowl season starts.
Ohio St is not bowl elgible
@Fed
Ohio st is on probation for this season. No postseason. I think even a 1-loss SEC team would still be ahead of Ohio st because the Big Ten is so weak.
My CBS affiliate in Phoenix did not air Made in Jersey until 1 am instead of airing it they had payed programing. Do you know if i can watch last nights episode online? I forgot to record it and i do like the show.
