“CBS SUNDAY MORNING” POSTED ITS BEST DELIVERIES IN BOTH HOUSEHOLDS AND VIEWERS IN A NOVEMBER SWEEP SINCE 1994
CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 18, 2012.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.9/10 with 5.60m viewers and a 1.4/07 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best households and viewer performances since Feb. 19, 2012. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +5% in households (from 3.7/10), +6% in viewers (from 5.30m) and was even in adults 25-54.
For the November Sweep, CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best deliveries in both households (3.8/10) and viewers (5.37m) in a November Sweep since 1994. Compared to last November, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +3% in households (from 3.7/10), +1% in viewers (from 5.32m) and was even in adults 18-49 (1.4/06).
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +3% in households (3.7/10 from 3.6/10), +1% in viewers (5.26m from 5.20m) and was even in adults 25-54 (1.4/07) compared to last year.
The Nov. 18 broadcast featured CBS SUNDAY MORNING’s annual food-themed edition, “Eat, Drink and Be Merry,” which included Lee Cowan’s report on America’s food obsession, Michelle Miller’s interview with actor John Goodman, Faith Salie’s report on the significance of different shapes of pasta and Rebecca Jarvis’ look on the resurgence of gin.
