Will the 'Revolution' Fall Finale's Ratings Rise? - Poll

The previous two episodes of Revolution each hit a season-low 2.6 adults 18-49 rating. The show is still winning its time period, but it's a far cry from the 4.0+ adults 18-49 ratings it earned at the beginning of the season. Tonight Revolution airs its fall finale. Will it rebound before its lengthy hiatus? Make your prediction below, then discuss it, and whether you think disappearing from the airwaves for several months will hurt the show's future performance.

  • The End

Problem really is that the main focus of the show is them trying to rescue the brother of a character viewers don’t seem to care much for, who just so happens to be a character without much backstory.

  • danny94

Hope it gets about a 2.8. It better be a hell of an episode if they want the audience to stay intrigued till March.

  • Capitalist Infidel

Unfortunately it won’t be on here in Charlotte NC, we get to watch Carolina vs Eagles. I don’t see it anywhere on the schedule here.

  • Simon

    @The End

That plot is supposedly meant to end in this episode, according to Eric Kripkie himself.

  • Psac

@TheEnd, I agree, the focus has been on the whiny brother of the whiny girl. It has to be shifted to something the audience can have a stronger feeling about.

I really hope it rises, I am standing by my prediction that it actually won’t fall that much after the hiatus:

    Reasons:

    - It still has The Voice as it’s lead-in and the blind auditions and battle/steal rounds are usually very high rated.
    - FlashForward was already failing before it’s hiatus (in fact it only dropped 2 tenths between the hiatus.
    - I certainly and many would not just forget about a show.

I really hope i’m right and it doesn’t fall much so I can say “I told you so” lol :D If it does fall a lot then, my bad

A week is not complete if I don’t guess ‘Revolution’ at 2.4.

  • Kavyn

It’s already the finale? Wow, thought that was still a month away. I figured the show was ending with The Voice’s finale.

  • Other Than That Mrs. Lincoln How Was The Play?

It wont drop much this week.

What it does when it returns after several weeks of hiatus? Thats the real question.

  • Terry

After last week’s disappointing episode, I think Revolution will drop to 2.4, but it will pick up around the same ratings after the hiatus.

  • Alex

MNF tonight is absolutely terrible. 3.0+ I wish there was an option for 3.2+.

  • Dan S

It’ll definitely get back to 3.0 being the fall finale. The producers have already promised a major cliffhanger that should bring viewers back on its return March 25th. If the show were to return to disappointing numbers I would encourage NBC to give it a run in 2014 from Jan to May uninterrupted like they did with 24 & Lost. Long breaks haven’t hurt cable series like TWD so RVN should hopefully do well on its return.

  • HotLatino4GayMarriage

    2.4 hopefully.

  • CrimTV

    @Dan S

Completely agree, this would give NBC a chance to air new series after the Voice in the fall to give them a good and stable start and then start Revolution in January until May.

  • rob60990

    2.2

  • Ming

Mostly likely somewhere between 2.5 and 3.0.

Of course, no matter what ratings it’s going to get, it’ll most likely to survive its first season (I hope).

  • Richard Steven Hack

I predict the finale will be lower still than previous lows. There is no “there there” with this show and every week more people are realizing it.

After the hiatus, the show will return lower and continue its downward trend until it is canceled.

Dancing With the Stars: 2.5 [season high]
    Extreme Makeover: Holiday Edition: 2.0

How I Met Your Mother: 3.0
    The Big Bang Theory: 3.1
    2 Broke Girls: 3.5
    Mike & Molly: 3.0
    Hawaii 5-0: 2.1

    90210: 0.4 [ties series low]
Gossip Girl: 0.3 [ties series low]

    Bones: 2.0
The Mob Doctor: 0.7 [ties series low]

    The Voice: 4.2
    Revolution: 2.8

The finale has a lot of hype surrounding it. It’ll be up a little. 2.8.

    Networks-
    1. NBC: 3.73
    2. CBS: 2.8
    3. ABC: 2.33
    4. Fox: 1.35
    5. The CW: 0.35

Tarcy Spiridakos might be one of the most unsympathetic heroines to appear on a series in years. Her deadpan expression and monotone delivery are absolutely killing Revolution. I can’t imagine why viewers would feel the slightest motivation to continue watching this series so long as she’s on it.

  • Kavyn

I really think Revolution needs to take motivation from Game Of Thrones and start splitting people up and focusing on different groups of people instead of just the boring 3 and Miles.
