Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I think Liz & Dick was the reason for Revenge hitting season low. I’m sure it will bounce back next week to a range of 2.6 – 2.8. And great for Once Upon A Time.

  • TheFollowing

Fox’s animation domination is soooo goood!

  • SJ

It was a filler episode for Revenge, so I’m not worried. The flashback episode from season 1 didn’t do that great either (I think it had a series low of 2.0).

Good for Once Upon a Time, I was starting to get slightly worried to be honest.

  • ally

Its kinda ironic max taking the mick out of Revenge’s season low despite the fact that a 2.2 would be a series high for Scandal.

  • Kavyn

I’m really not digging Once and Revenge this season, not as much as last season anyways. I always find myself more excited for 666, Dexter and Homeland.

  • MTUK1

How does Max manage to be the first person every week to post?

    @ RJ

And all the save 666 look the same, time for a block

    Bill, are you with us?

  • Steve-A

Have any of you ever considered that maybe Max is one of the people who run this site?

Anyway, I like both Revenge and Scandal and I think this war b/w them is stupid seeing as they air on the same network and will never directly compete with each other. I have to say that last night’s episode wasn’t interesting at all. It seems as if the writers are just running out of ideas and this season hasn’t really gone anywhere.

  • tv_viewer

Once Upon A Time did bounce back to a preliminary 3.0 from a 2.7 two weeks ago. Maybe 0.3 did come back from watching the 2nd football game on thst Sunday a fortnight ago. My theory is most of the drop was due to the fact that it was a story about Red and didn’t convince the viewers that the main plot of Snow White and Emma finding a way back to Storybrooke would be advanced for the last new episode before Thanksgiving.

Revenge’s 2.2 is no cause for alarm. I read somewhere that the prime time ABC average for the November sweeps is close to 2.2. With the exception of The Good Wife, broadcast networks want their 9 pm shows (excluding Friday and Saturday) to be above the network average. Revenge is likely to be renewed but may be moved to a less desirable time slot if it doesn’t stay above ABC’s prime time average.

@MTUK1, the timings are predictable. Keep refreshing the home page after 11:30 ET/10:30 CT/9:30 MT/8:30 PT.

You people have understand that The Simpsons airs after football. Or else no way it would do better than Family Guy.

  • Networkman

I’m really enjoying season 2 of Revenge. I thought the episode that aired 11/11 was its strongest to date. So, I really did not expect this type of drop off in ratings. But I must admit that I was underwhelmed with last nights episode. The acting from Madeline was still brillant but I really do not care for the flashback. But I can understand why it is needed. I don’t think that is any excuse for the ratings hitting a low this season. Who knew that this was a flashback episode? I think it was the Liz & Dick movie that stole away viewers.

  • Bob

I loved Revenge last night. I hope they treat it like a filler like some here mentioned. A 2.2 for an incredible show is not good. It is safe for a Third and most likely 4th season. I like Scandal too by the way. However, Max is completely insane when talking about how bad Revenge ratings are when Scandal would LOVE a 2.2.

  • Mike

Whenever there isn’t a late game on Fox, the Simpsons ratings are way lower.

  • Networkman

CBS should really considering moving The Mentalist to Friday next season. The 1.8 demo would do really good on that night paired with Blue Bloods. The show really has loyal viewers.

  • MTUK1

@Max Vrany, there is 2 words for Maxs’ condition: Mental Ilness.

  • MTUK1

    or Illness even LOL!

  • POIFanatic

I don’t even watch Revenge, but I wanna kill Max so bad! How the hell is he the first commenter on every Sunday and Thursday rating posts! Stfu moron! He just got lucky today since Revenge actually fell in ratings!

The Mentalist is performing decently. Hope CBS gives it a Friday spot.

  • Alan

Poor Revenge! I blame Liz and Dick, I saw a lot of fans saying that they should have watched Revenge instead of the Liz and Dick premiere.
