Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    @TheOldMan

I don’t get why people hate Beiber so much. Seriously he’s just a guy making music what’s the hate about? I don’t like the music he makes but that certainly isn’t a reason to hate the kid. I can see it now 5 years from now he will be a drug addict because of depression.

  • vcoolwater

I was surprised that 666 park ave ratings didn’t drop with the news of cancellation. I guess news of closure kept more viewer from stopped watching.

  • Rebecca

Great episode of OUAT. Just one more and then it’s off until Jan 6th.

  • THE OLD MAN

    @ LT

Stateside the #1 reason I’ve seen is that he started as an internet sensation & crossed over from there + Usher taking him under his wing didn’t help matters. I’ve only seen him in the Christmas video “All I Want for Christmas Is You” with Mariah Carey & (have to admit) he was really cool (for amusement purposes, of course). But I also saw his “As Long As You Love Me” and didn’t like him at all.

Sadly, I think the future is his to hold and think he’s savvy enough to make good. Stay tooned…

Not good for revenge. But it will bounce back. The episode itself wasn’t even good IMO. The promo for it didn’t even get me excited. And my dvr cut like the last minute off.

But hey it will bounce back. And at least it doesn’t do as bad as scandal.

  • THE OLD MAN

    @ Rebecca

Any episode with Lana P & Robert C is great! Looking forward to the Winter Finale.

  • CP

No clue what Liz and Dick is, but Revenge deserved that rating if not worse. What took an hour of flashback could’ve been done in ten minutes. I’ve never liked flashback episodes, and this was no exception.

  • Jonathan

I think Liz & Dick had a lot to do with Revenge’s drop. They target a similar audience. Revenge will go up in the dvr ratings because I’m sure people watched Liz & Dick for the watercoller quality of it.

  • Dan S

With the disruptions made to east coast viewers with shows like The Mentalist airing out of primetime why don’t they just eliminate the 1st hour of Sunday primetime 7-8pm et ? That’s 1 less hour the networks have to worry about filling & just give the time back to the affiliates. In regards to Revenge that’s a season low & hopefully it’ll bounce back next week for the fall finale.

Most people blame Lindsey Lohan’s Liz & Dick for the rating drop. What are the ratings for Liz & Dick?

  • Enri

Glad to see the mentalist did well.

  • Jonathan

People doubt the power of Lindsay Lohan! Liz & Dick was much better than expected! The scenes were beautiful and Lindsay looked amazing!

  • Michael

I love Revenge, but lol at people blaming Liz and Dick because it hit a series low. Last night’s episode was boring, I think all the flashback episodes that Revenge does ends up being boring, IMO. Next week’s episode looks really good!

  • Alex

Do you have any problem Max?! If you do, just don’t watch the show!!!!!

  • alexis

Last night’s episode of Revenge was really boring. Kudos to those who managed to watch the whole episode live.

“Should we have final ratings for wednesday, thursday later today?”

    Maybe. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/11/22/happy-thanksgiving-means-ratings-delays/158590/

“What are the ratings for Liz & Dick?”

Unless Lifetime puts out a press release (which I think is reasonably likely), we will not see those until Tuesday AM at the earliest.

“And all the save 666 look the same, time for a block

    Bill, are you with us?”

Less and less these days, but in this case, yes.

“Can you please ban ‘TheTVdude’ already? Once was funny, so was the second time, but c’mon!”

“He” has been banned repeatedly, but our methods can be circumvented by the determined and/or crazy.
