As many commenters have noted, the CW hasn't released its entire mid-season/spring schedule yet. One likely reason for that could be that it won't include Emily Owens, M.D. and networks typically want to put out bad news for shows that are still airing as late as possible. Emily Owens is certain to be canceled by the end of the season.
CW dramas The Beauty & The Beast, Hart Of Dixie and 90210 are all still "toss ups" for cancellation or renewal by the end of the season. Unlikely those predictions change before the end of 2012.
How can Nikita with absolutely "look away" bad ratings be "likely to be renewed"? The pull of a fourth season for syndication purposes is one of the strongest forces in the TV universe. Read more about it here.

The Renew/Cancel Index is the ratio of a scripted show's new episode adults 18-49 ratings relative to the new episode ratings of the other scripted shows on its own network. It's calculated by dividing a show's new episode Live+Same Day adults 18-49 average rating by the Live+Same Day new episode average of all the new scripted show episodes on the show's own network. The network's average ratings in the calculation are not time weighted (ex. hour long shows are not weighted twice what 30 minute shows are).
(F) -Fridays: Shows airing on Fridays were renewed with significantly lower than average Indexes.

I agree. Nikita is an anomaly in that its syndication potential apparently rests on the simple fact that its star is Asian (well, Asian-American – the first such series star, apparently.) That and the fact that the show is unusually well done, but on such a pathetic network that it can’t seem to get decent ratings.
The only show here I’m not sure about is BATB. If it stabilizes around 1.0 it might survive. It may depend on whether 90210 gets a final short season or not.
As much as I like Emily Owens, It’s not fair to other shows if it lives past January.
90210 will also be cancelled and Nikita should move to the summer schedule.
Hart of Dixie is very consist so I don’t think it’ll be cancelled.
How about being a bit more grateful about CW renewing Nikita since it has abysmal ratings instead of labeling it a pathetic network?

Margaret Cho was the first asian american to star in her own tv series…All American Girl.
Anyway maybe Nikita is ‘pathetic’ instead of CW.
I love Emily Owens MD, but the ratings are terrible and it should be cancelled sadly. If the CW is going to continue to keep the hideously low rated Nikita, it needs to be moved to the summer so that another show can have its’ time slot. I suspect that 90210 will be canceled soon so that the writers have time to properly end the series. I could also see The CW renewing for 10 episodes like Gossip Girl next fall and showing them on Fridays. I think that Hart of Dixie will be renewed because the ratings have been pretty consistent. I suspect Beauty and the Beast will get the same treatment as The Secret Circle did last season and get canceled. I also think that Supernatural will be renewed for a final full season next Fall.
CW will renew Hart Of Dixie . It is in a tough timeslot against the top rated shows on televsion and does well.
CW could not find another show to do as well.

but i think Beauty and the Beast fate entirely rides on performance of Carrie Diaries and Cult Midseason
My Prediction:Beauty cancelled(it’s had three 0.6 s, and it’s ratings will probably fall more by seasons end,it has low retention out of VD and lost more than half it’s audience from the pilot by episode three),Emily Owens,Cult,Carrie Diaries cancelled.90210 will get a 10-13 episode final season,Hart of Dixie renewed(hopefully),VD,Arrow,SPN renewed,Nikita needs to be cancelled but unfourtanatley will probably get renewed unless MP comes to senses .I love Beauty and like Emily Owens but accept they’ll be cancelled.
90210 will probably be cancelled. It’s reached syndication numbers and doesn’t have the numbers or fan following to ‘launch’ a new show next year. Nikita SHOULD be cancelled because even syndication can’t justify those numbers, but with Emily Owen, GG, and 90210 gone, the CW probably won’t be able to cancel it due to a limitation in how many pilots it can afford to launch in 2013-2014.

You’re right, Beauty and the Beast’s survival depends on those two and the CW might be generous this year after the performance of Arrow and keep two.
Supernatural/ VD/ Arrow- will get renewed (even though i dislike these shows entirely)
BATB/ HOD- depends on the midseason shows
90210- absolutly love this show! but it had a good run… give it 10 more episodes next fall….it deserves it cuz One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl got it

Do you guys really want Nikita and The LA Complex on over the summer? I doubt if Pedowitz can resist the allure of wringing a few more bucks out of yet another torturous season of the LAC. If the CW puts that atrocity on in addition to Nikita, the network’s image will be further tarnished. (Assuming that’s even possible). The CW’s brand is already diminished enough and I suspect that’s having a negative effect on the ratings of TVD and Arrow, it’s only really watchable shows. One more season of cable-level ratings and the CW will likely either have to repopulate most of its lineup or close up shop. Leaving low rated shows on for syndication reason may work for networks that are reasonably successful, but the CW certainly hasn’t earned that luxury. Nikita has to be cancelled.
