Definitions:
DVR (Time-shifted) Adults 18-49 Ratings – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs.
Live+Same Day(Live+SD) ratings include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing.
Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
DVR Ratings Increase Past Airdate - How many people watched the show on their DVRs within 7 days following the airdate
Until the 2009-2010 season, we used a show's LIVE program rating or viewership as the base upon which the LIVE+7 day DVR viewing was added. Now, the press seems to be standardizing around using LIVE+SAME DAY DVR viewing as the base for the calculations, so that's what we do now as well.

Big Bang theory almost gets 21 million! Wow! I haven’t seen high ratings like this for a Thursday night sitcom since Friends!
Nice job by Grimm as usual. Come one, people watch live or within the three day period.
@Bill Gorman, do these numbers mean anything to the networks at all?
Wow crazy that Grey’s goes to a 5.2… Still a beast even though it’s rapidly closing in on a decade old!
Yes, the Live+7 may not really count but those gains for Revolution are very impressive.
Note that this was election week so Tuesday was preempted
@Bill Gorman These don’t count On Demand numbers, right? Shows interrupted by football like The Good Wife are hurt here because you can’t depend on the DVR to record it, so it is watched On Demand instead by some.
…oh, and The Voice was on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday so no SVU/30R/UAN.
Gossip Girl this year is the best it has been in years.
Cheesy plot device Modern Family used in the episode pictured above.
Skype is used in 2.5 Men and Mod Fam — those kids don’t really need to appear in every episode.
Revolution is a beast on DVR!
isn’t rare for non-friday show to get 100% increase in dvr?
No Vampire Diaries numbers…anyone?
Good week on the DVR for ABC… 6 of the top 10 gainers in the demo and 5 of the top 10 in viewers..
As always the 10PM slot on Monday’s is the most heavily DVR hour of the week..
Revolution 4.719 2.0
Castle 4.070 1.2
H50 2.548 ??
Yay Bones
@halloween
Not when it’s on The CW
Amazingly FRINGE seems to have increased its Live+7 ratings as it finishes its 5 year run in January. Almost half the audience watches it delayed.
It always surprises me that Arrow is never on any of these lists.
I agree..its funny how Arrow and TVD are the 2 most popular series on the CW yet they never make any of the DVR lists. I wonder why that is.
Even with DVR CW looks pathetic.
Nice to see that people are watching Scandal, it seems to be slowly gaining ground. Hopefully in January it can really start to grow
And lol Nikita only gets a 0.2. So much for the friday 9pm slot killing it if it had a audience it would rise more.
