Last night’s Monday Night Football game (Panthers/Eagles) was simulcast on the NBC affiliate in Charlotte. As a result, the NBC numbers may be inflated  and subject to more than typical adjustments in the finals.

NBC was number one with adults 18-49, and with total viewers.

On NBC, The Voice earned a 4.2 adults 18-49 rating, up 14% from last week's 3.7 adults 18-49 rating. Revolution scored a 2.9 among adults 18-49, up 12% from last week's series-low 2.6. Your predictions were a little pessimistic.

On CBS, How I Met Your Mother earned a 3.4 among adults 18-49, up 17% from last week's 2.9. 2 Broke Girls scored a season high 4.0 among adults 18-49, up 18% from last week’s 3.4. Mike & Molly earned a season-high 3.6 adults 18-49, up 24% from last week's 2.9. Hawaii Five-O notched  a season-high 2.3 adults 18-49 rating, up 5% from last week’s 2.2.

On ABC, the one hour Dancing with the Stars performance finale scored a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating, up 8% from a 2.4 for last week’s two hour episode but down 26% from a 3.5 for last fall’s performance finale. The season premiere of  Extreme Makeover: Home Edition earned a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating down 7% from a 1.4 for its previous season finale on Friday, January 13, 2012. A second hour of the show earned a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating, way down from Castle’s typical performance in the time period.

On FOX, Bones scored a 2.3 among adults 18-49, up 15% from last week's 2.0. The Mob Doctor garnered a 1.2, up 33% from last week's 0.9 adults 18-49 rating.

On the CW, 90210 earned a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating, up 25% from last week's 0.4. Gossip Girl scored a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating, even with last week.

Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Yay for Revolution, Mike & Molly & 2BG! :( for EMHE

Fox and CBS had great days.

I’m surprised Bones did so well. Wasn’t it supposed to be a filler episode?

Screw Friend Me & Rules. TBBT repeats should be in that slot full-time. It boosted the entire night.

Nice for DWTS. What happened to EMHE?

CW & NBC are meh. NBC will be adjusted down.

  • Alan

Woohoo, great for my Monday shows! All up from last week. (2 Broke Girls, 90210, and GG)

If NBC isn’t adjusted down, it’s not “meh”. It won the night.

2 Broke Girls was HILARIOUS last night and great job at those ratings. 2BG is becoming a huge success like TBBT, Two and a Half Men, and Modern Family.

@Sarah. Well in the UK and most of Europe the position is the opposite to that in Aus (who cares what people watch in Aus?). HFO regularly does the best out of the US shows on Sky. It beats NCIS LA hands down week in and week out.

And NCIS LA doesn’t deserve singing about, US wise, this season. It’s currently doing worse than POI, the Monday comedies and CM with way less competition.

Whereas HFO’s performance is pretty on the ball compared to the other ten pm shows on CBS.

And anyway the two shows are in different time slots so what was your point? And why do you care what a show on at a different time does? How has HFO offended you as a LA fan? Or are you a nutty Moonlight dame????????

  • jake3988

A 3.2 for a TBBT repeat at a time and day it’s not normally on. Wow.

And it immensely lifts the rest of the lineup too.

CBS should seriously considering doing that permanently. That’d be an economic bonanza.

@ So very true. Everything just clicked into place and kept on improving in Supernatural from season 2 to season 5. If Revolution’s finale is anything to go by, we’re in for an epic ride.

Yea but Supernatural was on WB tv, CW etc. Not on big 4 networks where there are no time fo developing story, characters etc. So first season was very important to be the success wich is until now. Will see if nest season stay at 10pm or NBC move it like lead-in at 8 pm.

  • Charlie Sheen

What was interesting last night was that 10pm hour, I knew Castle affected Hawaii Five-0 and we saw it last night. This just shows you that CBS should capitalize on a move of Hawaii Five-0 to Tuesdays at 10pm behind LA. I’ll wait for Revolution’s final numbers but I imagine it still scoring well for them in the finals.

CBS just doesn’t look right without Partners, sorry.

FOX should play a wait and see game with Mob Doctor and see what happens when DWtS and The Voice is done. I think Mob Doctor has some legs that haven’t grown just yet.

Good luck to General Hospital alum Kelly Monaco tonight as she has a chance to become the show’s first and only 2-time champion.

    @Bluejays

Turns out my dad is from UK and we travel there at least twice a year. Sky is just a small pay channel that u cannot compare at all with American networks when u talk ratings.. For starters when they aired H50 very few US shows were airing at the same time , most were on hiatus, so saying it was doing well for them means nothing . This show is not doing well in Europe. Getting modest results all over the place. Europeans love CSI Miami. NCIS, The Mentalist, Person of Interest ,Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Homeland. Take your time and read International TV news,
I never watched Moonlight but I heard it sucked. So I am not one of those nuts, but obviously you are :)

  • mandy

Bones was terrible last night, I couldn’t even finish it. It’s sad because that show used to be really good, and now is just meh.

  • David

Mob Doctor up. Lets hope it keeps going. GREAT SHOW!!!!

  • K

    @ateofi

Sure, I’m glad RVN is doing well, it is a much better show than H50. My beef with H50 is that Jack Lord did not have to go around shirtless to get respect, as well as neither he nor Danno bed hopped.

  • Wilson

With more mob, less doctor, the Mob Doctor’s ratings are up. They should keep that up. Jennifer Beals and her character are great additions. Someone needs to cast her as a regular in a series.

  • K

Some hate H50, because it is bad

  • Capitalist Infidel

Does anyone know if the fall finale will be shown in the Charlotte North Carolina area? Or will they show it in the winter?

  • Barbie

With Private Practice gone, Castle will be the only ABC show I’ll still watch. They have a horrible schedule right now. CBS has the best show, and even NBC has been coming up with better stuff.

  • Capitalist Infidel

I should have said the fall finale of Revolution since it was preempted by monday night football

  • brian I

Revolution’s year finale ‘cliff hanger’ was dumb, i expected more from that episode.

  • Joseph

3.4 for HIMYM very nice and TBBT held almost all the numbers.

  • Tabby

I’m glad Revolution kept it’s high ratings. Looks like the absence of Castle contributed to H50 higher ratings for at least one night. Now that Revolution is on a break, H50 might actually get more viewers, but it’s still lame. I’ll be watching On Demand to catch up with Good Wife and Sons of Anarchy.
