Last night’s Monday Night Football game (Panthers/Eagles) was simulcast on the NBC affiliate in Charlotte. As a result, the NBC numbers may be inflated  and subject to more than typical adjustments in the finals.

NBC was number one with adults 18-49, and with total viewers.

On NBC, The Voice earned a 4.2 adults 18-49 rating, up 14% from last week's 3.7 adults 18-49 rating. Revolution scored a 2.9 among adults 18-49, up 12% from last week's series-low 2.6. Your predictions were a little pessimistic.

On CBS, How I met Your Mother earned a 3.4 among adults 18-49, up 17% from last week's 2.9. 2 Broke Girls scored a season high 4.0 among adults 18-49, up 18% from last week’s 3.4. Mike & Molly earned a season-high 3.6 adults 18-49, up 24% from last week's 2.9. Hawaii Five-O notched  a season-high 2.3 adults 18-49 rating, up 5% from last week’s 2.2.

On ABC, the one hour Dancing With the Stars performance finale scored a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating, up 8% from a 2.4 for last week’s two hour episode but down 26% from a 3.5 for last fall’s performance finale. The season premiere of  Extreme Makeover: Home Edition earned a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating down 7% from a 1.4 for its previous season finale on Friday, January 13, 2012. A second hour of the show earned a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating, way down from Castle’s typical performance in the time period.

On FOX, Bones scored a 2.3 among adults 18-49, up 15% from last week's 2.0. The Mob Doctor garnered a 1.2, up 33% from last week's 0.9 adults 18-49 rating.

On the CW, 90210 earned a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating, up 25% from last week's 0.4. Gossip Girl scored a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating, even with last week.

You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

The Big Bang Theory is a BEAST. Even it’s repeat numbers are amazing. Partners was such a failure for CBS and this just proves that point even more.

  • Mary

Looks like a lot more people were watching TV this week:)
If NBC is inflated, probably H50 will adjust up… anyway I tought they would get higher numbers, since there was no Castle…

  • Mike

Wow…CBS did better , but H50 dropped as a rock after M&M. A 3.6 lead in is the strongest lead in for any 10 pm CBS show in the week and only got a 2.3. That show has to go from there, it is wasting the time slot big time. And considering Castle was off yesterday even a worse result.

  • were123

YES!!!! 2 Broke Girls finally hit 4!!! I know TBBT repeat might have helped, still very pleased :D!
I hope Revolution stays around the same rating, probably will be adjusted down, but it could be still be up from last week.
Didn’t see that rating uptick coming from The Mob Doctor, could it have any chance? Nah, unless next weeks it somehow manages to deliever a 1.7 I’ll still think it’ll be cancelled

  • Sarah

    Yay Bones! :) Half-hours?

  • rob60990

Castle & Hawaii 5-0 definitely share a lot of older viewers. Hawaii 5-0 always skews extra old when Castle is not on.

  • Jay

    The voice yes!!

  • Charlotte Always

    @ Seth, I think you’re right.

  • Oliver

Ouch at Extreme Makeover. That show is staying dead.

The TBBT repeat did wonders for CBS Monday.

    Mob Doctor is getting stronger

  • Steph

    Good for H50!

  • Greg

Everything was way up last night, with the exception of the CW shows. Maybe people missed sitting in front of a TV after so many days of Thanksgiving madness?

  • Billy

No, CBS repeated Two and a Half Men last week, and it put up a 2.0.

  • s0303

the voice back in the 4’s :) it ran over so i’m thinking revolution will be adjusted down…revolution is really going to fall next year without the voice as a lead in…2.9 not that great following a 4.2…

cbs smartened up and put tbbt rerun over tahm…really good numbers, that comedy block has more life in it than i thought :)

  • Monica

Wih the exception of Revolution, the other 10pm shows are getting about a 2.3 on average, with far less competition on those nights. So H50 is not wasting the time slot.

  • Justin121

    It’s not only CBS.

NBC’s Revolution got a 4-week high. The Voice back to +4.0.

DWTS season high than usual 2.1-2.3.

Even MOB DOCTOR got a nice bump!

  • Petar Ivanov

So Partners really kill 2BG like i said.

CBS must cancel friend me and Rules and run TBBT reruns instead. And after TAHM ended this year(agter ome of the stars comment no doubt in that) they must use TBBT rerun and in 8:30 too. More TBBT more good ratings. Its better then all their new sitcoms.

  • greysfan

I told you they should have aired Castle last night. Stupid ABC and their continual Extreme Makeover show which should have been cancelled years ago.

  • Pam

I think 2 BG and M&M hit highs because DWTS was not on. The competiton was weaker.
Disappointing 2.3 for Hawaii 50 , with no Castle and a 3.6 lead in , at least a 2.7 should had been expected. This show is really hurting CBS Monday demo numbers.

  • POI

they should get a repeat of TBBT there every week cuz everything went up because of it., its a huge hit a repeat beats most of things on that night it should go up more and get to 18 million this week hopefully.

  • OMG

Definitely one of the best nights in recent memory! Monday was so good last year where the CBS comedies are all hitting 4s so much so that a 3.8 last year from Mike and Molly is the “weak link”.

Though the best ratings slot must be early this year where on Sunday at 8pm, I remembered 2 nets are having games, with huge ratings, Once Upon A Time at a 3.3 and Undercover Boss at a 3.0. That is the only time in recent history where all 4 nets managed to get 3.0 and above.
