Last night’s Monday Night Football game (Panthers/Eagles) was simulcast on the NBC affiliate in Charlotte. As a result, the NBC numbers may be inflated  and subject to more than typical adjustments in the finals.

NBC was number one with adults 18-49, and with total viewers.

On NBC, The Voice earned a 4.2 adults 18-49 rating, up 14% from last week's 3.7 adults 18-49 rating. Revolution scored a 2.9 among adults 18-49, up 12% from last week's series-low 2.6. Your predictions were a little pessimistic.

On CBS, How I Met Your Mother earned a 3.4 among adults 18-49, up 17% from last week's 2.9. 2 Broke Girls scored a season high 4.0 among adults 18-49, up 18% from last week’s 3.4. Mike & Molly earned a season-high 3.6 adults 18-49, up 24% from last week's 2.9. Hawaii Five-O notched  a season-high 2.3 adults 18-49 rating, up 5% from last week’s 2.2.

On ABC, the one hour Dancing with the Stars performance finale scored a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating, up 8% from a 2.4 for last week’s two hour episode but down 26% from a 3.5 for last fall’s performance finale. The season premiere of  Extreme Makeover: Home Edition earned a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating down 7% from a 1.4 for its previous season finale on Friday, January 13, 2012. A second hour of the show earned a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating, way down from Castle’s typical performance in the time period.

On FOX, Bones scored a 2.3 among adults 18-49, up 15% from last week's 2.0. The Mob Doctor garnered a 1.2, up 33% from last week's 0.9 adults 18-49 rating.

On the CW, 90210 earned a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating, up 25% from last week's 0.4. Gossip Girl scored a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating, even with last week.

Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    CW is dead on Mondays

    TBBT repeat, THANK YOU very much.

    Great for CBS.

  • Sarah

    Any half-hours?

  • Barbie

    It shows that Castle ratings do matter. All 10pm shows ratings went up without Castle’s audience (since EMHE was so low). Its audience was like split among the others.

  • Barbie

    And, no, I’m not a hater. I actually *love* CASTLE, adore HAWAII FIVE-0 with all I have and even watch REVOLUTION! I also watch BONES! There’s love for everyone!

  • THE OLD MAN

    SPEAKING OF ADVERTISERS 2

    The Aflack spin on “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”

    Is nothing sacred anymore?

  • K

    @HalCapone

    Revolution is a very good show, heck it should be with Jon Favreau as one of the producers. It could do well, even without the Voice.

    For the life of me, I can’t see the appeal of HIMYM or 2BG. One has been on way too long (like 30 Rock), the other makes no sense and all it boils down to is sex or the mention of probably having sex. No wonder todays tv sucks so bad.

  • Petar Ivanov

    @I hope the ratings don’t drop and more people find Revolution during the hiatus because let me tell you, this has some of the strongest characters in Monroe, Neville, Julia, Rachel, Randall and Miles. After a whole lot of uneven episodes, this episode just hit it out of the park. Charlie also just kept getting more likable every episode recently.

    I can’t believe we have to wait for FOUR Frickin’ Months!!Revolution had an ace up its sleeves with Sebastian and what a truly amazing performance. I can only compare the level of emotions he brought about in me to Walking Dead’s Rick during ‘that’ scene. The guy made me laugh and cry all at once. He deserves critical acclaim. There were two cliffhangers for the discerning viewer. Fantastic work by everyone. It’ll blow you away

    ME: Great words. I will add only this :
    Outstanding acting by Monroe last night. Outstanding with BIG O!!! Never expect that. NEVER.

    Haven’t watched a full minute of Partners but i sure did watch that BBT rerun (even though I have all 5 seasons on DVD). BBT is the next Friends…it just keeps growing and growing, what will CBS do when it ends in about 5-6 years.

  • Ray

    2BG is funny as hell! love that show!

    damn 90210 get 0.5. i wish this show rating will drop, drop and drop!
    seriously, i can’t stand one more season of this stupid show. i’m really hope this show will be canceled! so there will be more room for new series in the CW.

  • Baaa!

    Poor MNF game, Thanksgiving is over, its cold and dark and everyone is all shopped out from Black Friday and staying home on the PC for Cyber Monday. Add all the excuses up and it makes a trend of people staying home.Bad night for Castle not to be on. Upticks all around. Home Makeover being low helped CBS/NBC/FOX. I doubt NBC’s drops will be much from MNF.

  • K

    H50, a disgrace to the original, and not very believable at that, Lol

  • tv log

    Dancing With the Stars tonight November 27, 2012 will crown Tony and Melissa! This is second time in finals! Tony! The show is Geriatric Type of Wrestling show! When Cheryl have non talent celebrity! This show is more phony talent show than WWE presenting itself as sport! The Voice needs old geysers realize it has talent! Dancing With The Stars is joke of talent show! It should not beat American Idol, X Factor or The Voice! This show is phony concept! Stars don’t know how dance! On contrary it really is saying the stars can’t do Ball Room Dancing! These celebrities is not pitch people for Ball Room! They only learned the Ball Room only for the show! This All Star Edition is same people trying win Mirror Ball trophy for second time!
    I give British Import a F for All Star Edition! Choreography is professional dancers’ scheme! Stars on videos saying I forget the routine!

    @bluejays: Lead-ins are irrelevant? They may not matter much when it comes to cancellations and renewals. However, a TV show’s ratings can certainly be judged with the lead-in and lead-out in mind.

    Last night’s CBS ratings make it clear that TV shows don’t just exist on their own regardless of what’s happening around them. Replace Partners with a TBBT repeat and it changes the whole night. Just like TAAHM did last year.

    2BG and M&M did very well. 2BG used TBBT and M&M used 2BG. That’s kind of the perfect domino effect. In comparison, H5O’s numbers are simply much less impressive and the show didn’t make use of what was there.

    A 2.3 easily saves H5O from cancellation or anything (not that the show was in any danger anyway due to TNT deal). Then again, H5O’s 2.3 looks much less impressive when compared to 2BG and M&M’s gains.

    @Ray
    at .5 and below is cancellation levels for the CW…if they want stop being a joke

    @K

    If NBC and WB are smart they will sell RVN to netflix, USA or whoever they can for less money. Its serilezed show and will get big boost from syndication esspessaly from streaming. Hope for TWD boost in second season not like Heroes on NBC or Fringe on FOX. Both have great first seasons and collapse in second season. Althou fringe is 100 episodes and heroes was 4 season show was BIG disapoitment for me.

  • K

    @Barbie

    Castle, LOL, Nathan Fillion was better on that short lived driving across the US race show that ended way too soon.

  • Nancy Mahews

    I’m glad Extreme Makeover Home Edition’s ratings were lower than Castle. I don’t know why they prempted Castle in the first place. Instead of watching H50 or Revolution, I watched a rerun of Castle on demand It was the one that he and Beckett went away for the weekend to his place in the Hamptons and they end up being involved in the investigation of a murder victim found in Castle’s private Pool.

  • BagToPunch

    That’s all a joke, right?

  • OMG

    I genuinely think 2 Broke Girls is the funniest comedy on sitcom! On the contrary, I gave up on Community after the pilot episode, it just was not good enough to draw me in!
