The cancellation bear is eating well today. Emily Owens, MD has been officially canceled by the CW, but the network has announced that all 13 episodes ordered will air.

This was no surprise to anyone paying attention, and/or following our predictions all season long.

I am so disappointed. There is so little worth watching on t.v…..I really can’t believe this has been cancelled. It’s the only drama I watch. What? Was there not enough sex/betrayal/vampires in it? Jeepers.

I love Emily Owens MD – can another network pick it up please?

  • Anne

Too bad, I liked that show. Maybe someone else will buy the rights.

Emily Owens, MD is a great show that never had a chance. The CW put it in one of the *most* competitive time slots in prime time against NCIS, Dancing with the Stars, and the Voice, among other shows. It’s a well-written, refreshing (not trashy) show that has a loyal following. It deserves another chance either in a better time slot or on a network that truly values its potential.

I liked watching this show. It was light and I thought nice stories. I attempted to watch “The Following” last night; too gorey and continuing sagas. I like shows that have a theme that ends with each show.

My family loves watching Emily Owens MD, it’s a great family show in which parents and their teenage children can get together and enjoy. It’s a real shame that such a unique show is being trashed simply because many people aren’t even aware of its existence.

Just when i thought The CW was going to air a show that adults could enjoy and actually believe in……..SMFH. No more CW for me

A series I look forward to each week. I like all the characters and sorry to see that it will not continue.

So sorry to see this show cancelled. One of the few that is not cringe worthy. I could watch it with anyone without embarrassment. Great storylines
and Mamie is as usual the best. I will watch her in anything. Loved her in the Good Wife.
