mun2 DELIVERS BEST NOVEMBER IN PRIMETIME: UP +15% AMONG ADULTS 18-49 AND TOTAL VIEWERS
Eleventh Consecutive Month of Growth for Cable Network among Adults 18-49; Digital Streams Up +32% on mun2.tv
UNIVERSAL CITY, CA – November 28, 2012 – mun2 reported its best November deliveries in prime time, with +15% year over year growth among adults 18-49 and total viewers, according to Nielsen. The network delivered 93,000 total viewers and 54,000 adults 18-49, with November being its eleventh consecutive month of growth, year over year, among adults 18-49. mun2.tv saw record deliveries with video streams up +32% (795,000 streams) for the month. Contributing to the growth is the cable networks’ original Hispanic celebrity reality series Larrymania, DUB Latino and the special Jenni Rivera Presents: La Boda de mi Hija. mun2 is the only network to develop the Hispanic celebrity Reality series format, which is now a leading platform for top Hispanic artists including Jenni Rivera and Larry Hernandez, resulting in record audience deliveries in Hispanic cable. The network continues to evolve and deliver audience growth in other reality series formats, including the series Fugitivos de la Ley.
Larrymania (Sunday, 9 p.m.)
Larrymania continues to be the #1 original series for mun2 and the #1 program in its timeslot, finishing November with triple digit growth for the network vs. last year. The show averaged 114,000 total viewers (+256%), 72,000 adults 18-49 (+260%), and 45,000 adults 18-34 (+350%).
Jenni Rivera Presents: La Boda de mi Hija (Saturday, November 10, 3 p.m.)
The wedding special of Jacqui Marin, daughter of mun2 star Jenni Rivera, was one of the highest rated shows for the week of November 5, out-delivering the wedding special of her mother in 2011. In its time period, La Boda de mi Hija delivered 129,000 adults 18-49 and 104,000 adults 18-34. The special was the #1 show among Hispanic adults 18-49 and 18-34 in all of cable regardless of language.
DUB Latino (Sunday, 11 p.m. est)
The series had its highest delivery to date with episode one on Sunday, November 4 at 4:30 p.m.; the telecast delivered 124,000 adults 18-49 and 110,000 adults 18-34 and. It was mun2’s #1 show for the week ending November 4 among adults 18-34, and DUB made mun2 was the #1 cable network out of all cable networks regardless of language among Hispanic adults 18-34. DUB Latino’s Friday night airings have delivered triple digit growth to the network, with +128% total viewers (91,000) and +262% adults 18-49 (76,000).
Fugitivos de la Ley (Monday, 9 p.m. est)
The bounty hunter reality series grew its network time period by +26% total viewers (77,000), +9% adults 18-49 (51,000), and +21% adults 18-34 (29,000) in November, compared to previous year.
mun2.tv (http://mun2.tv) – the network’s award-winning digital property – grew its video views In November (10/29/2012-11/25/2012) by +32% month over month (795,000 video streams). The network’s mun2.tv video player had a +140% year over year increase in video streams to date. Attributing to its growth is the popularity of mun2 original reality series “Larrymania” and its star Larry Hernandez.
