Univision Finished the Week as the #4 Network among Adults 18-34

Univision is the #1 Network Pick on Friday Night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and #2 on Monday through Wednesday Nights among Adults 18-34

Univision Outpaces its Prior November Sweeps +2% among Adults 18-49, while ABC (-16%), CBS (-17%), and FOX (-29%) Post Declines

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of November 19, 2012 to November 25, 2012

  • · Univision was the #4 network during primetime last week among Total Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS. Univision also held the #5 position among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.

 

  • · Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-49. Univision also out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks on six out of seven nights among Adults 18-34.

 

  • · Univision finished November 2012 Sweeps outpacing its prior November sweeps performance by +2% among Adults 18-49, while ABC (-16%), CBS (-17%), and FOX (-29%) all post declines.

 

  • · For the fourth consecutive Monday, Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX in both demographics. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and top 10 programs for Adults 18-34.

ü Univision’s “Por Ella Soy Eva” (For Her I’m Eva) delivered its highest audience since premiere (7/16/2012) among Total Viewers 2+ (4.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.5 million) Equally impressive, the novela’s 1.3 million Adult 18-34 average was the 2nd highest reported since its debut.

ü At 9 p.m. “Amores Verdaderos” (True Love) also delivered it highest audience-to-date of 5 Million Total Viewers 2+ and its 2nd highest levels with Adults 18-49 (2.5 million).

ü Airing in the final hour of the night was “Amor Bravio” (Fierce Love) which increased its viewership versus the prior Monday by 7% among Total Viewers 2+ (3.9 million) and Adult 18-49 (2.0 million).

 

  • · On Tuesday night, Univision maintained its #2 rank among Adults 18-34 and rose to the #3 position among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX for the second consecutive night. Univision also out-delivered FOX among Total Viewers 2+ to finish the night as the #4 network. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and top 10 programs for Adults 18-34.

 

  • · Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 for the third consecutive night on Wednesday night. Univision also maintained it #3 rank among Adults 18-49 and out-delivering ABC and NBC among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 demographics. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics

 

  • · On Thursday night, Univision ranked #4 among Adults 18-34 and #5 among Adults 18-49. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-34.

 

  • · On Friday night, Univision rose to the #1 network rank among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. Univision also out-delivered FOX among Total Viewers 2+, ranking as the #4 network. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 3 programs for the night among Adults 18-34 with “Amores Verdaderos” ranked as #1. Among Adults 18-49, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs.

 

  • · Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision finished the night as the #3 network among Adults 18-49 and the #2 network among Adults 18-34, out-performing FOX and CBS in both demographics. “Sabado Gigante” delivered 2.5 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 Million Adults 18-49, and 473,000 Adults 18-34. “Sabado Gigante” also ranked among the top 10 programs with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34.

 

  • · On Sunday night, Univision ranked as the #5 network among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

ü At 8 p.m., Unvision aired the “Festival Acapulco” (Acapulco Festival), featuring performances by Joan Sebastian, Los Tigres del Norte, and Danna Paolo. “Festival Acapulco” attracted 2.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 Million Adults 18-49, and 437,000 Adults 18-34.

ü Bringing together members of the best-trained commando units from 21 countries, Univision aired “Fuerzas Comando” (Military Olympics). 1.3 Million Total Viewers 2+ tuned in as the elite soldiers competed in military exercises.

 

  • · At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Por Ella Soy Eva” helped Univision rank as the #3 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34. “Por Ella Soy Eva” attracted 3.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.1 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.0 Million Adults 18-34.

 

  • · Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Amores Verdaderos” helped Univision rank as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49 for the hour (M-F). “Amores Verdaderos” averaged 4.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.2 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.1 Million Adults 18-34.

 

  • · Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Amor Bravio” helped Univision rank as the #2 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49. “Amor Bravio” delivered 3.5 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.8 Million Adults 18-49, and 940,000 Adults 18-34.
