Arrow was so bad this week. Hopefully it improves next week.
Whoa! CSI garnering over 12 million viewers in the 10pm timeslot is awesome. This season has been very entertaining. People are clearly enjoying the new cast and stories that are being shown. I would have to agree with those that are saying CBS should leave the combo of Criminal Minds and CSI alone next season. It is going to make it hard for the other networks to schedule against it. I don’t think you waste it on Friday or Sunday yet. Maybe CBS should consider that move for its finale season.
Pretty bad episode of SPN. The flashbacks are just HORRIBLE. I skip out on every single one I see. The cartoon theme just didn’t work for me at all. Glad to see Cas tho.
C’mon 20th Century Fox. Get Modern Family from ABC and put it on Fox. A great lead-in for New Girl.
Wow, since when is tvbythenumbers the new TWOP for extreme Sam haters, and their usual lingo of “Samnatural” and “special snowflake”. Geesh. First the IMDB board, and now this site.
Last episode of Arrow was simply THE BEST!!!
Arrow’s episode was great and it will improve next week im sure of it and the ratings are great but i hope it gets to a 1.4 or 1.5 in next weeks episode.
Supernatural’s episode was hilarious and i enjoyed it alot but i hate the sam flashbacks and i think this is what made many people turn off their TVs just stop with the same stories he is so boring go back to dean with more purgatory i know you revealed many things but i like to see more of Dean’s relationship with Benny and i think Benny will become evil but i dont see him as a big bad he is a normal vampire nothing special about him (till now).
CW, get rid of Supernatural.
This show is very bad, so cancelling it it’s a good decision. Ratings are falling down, the plot is boring now * rhyme, lol;*.
This is not the show that’s used to be earlier.
Give a chance some new shows like BATB, for EO is too late unfortunately.
Nashville, dead or just at the door knocking ?
Oh My God!
Today Nikita. Can’t wait!
Pleeease, ratings go up!
WE NEED NIKITA SEASON 4!!!!!
Im a huge fan of Supernatural and the last episode was hilarious. People are saying Sam flashbacks are boring but this is not the first season to focus on Sam’s past. Remember season 6 when Sam went back from Lucifer’s cage ? Many episodes had flashbacks of Sam hunting with his grandfather and no one was complaining about it.
What did you expect ? Supernatural’s writters were in a difficul position at the end of season 7. They had to bring back Dean and Castiel from purgatory and imagine a situation for Sam who was alone against Crowley. Season 8 is great and the story will be developed. In a few weeks Sam’s flashbacks will be gone and everyone will be happy to see Supernatural having awesome ratings for an 8-years-old show on The CW.
Plus many people say Supernatural is boring but Arrow is worst and the show is in first season. So you people have to target the real “bad show”. After all Arrow only copied Smallville and it’s a success. Supernatural is an original show which survived Friday night (I’m not sure Arrow could !).
Modern Family is PERFECTLY fine on ABC.
Yes guys watch Nikita tonight at 8 on the CW. We need another season. I’m sick of losing my shows.
Caroline~ Sweetie Supernatural isn’t going anything. But thanks for your negative comment.
@Tessa
You are spot on about the Supernatural ratings this week. I’m sure there were people who tuned in last week only to find that the show wasn’t on and assumed it was on a break for the time being. Plus some episodes are DVR’d more than others. I for one wasn’t crazy about the promo for this week’s episode, but when I watched it I really enjoyed it. Some people probably saw the promo and decided not to watch or to watch later.
I happen to think that Carver does have a plan for the storyline this season and everything we’ve seen so far storyline wise is leading up to whatever end plan he has in store for us viewers. I think there will be a connection between the Sam flashbacks, Cas return/Naomi, and the Tran storyline. I’m not so sure Benny will tie into this too but you never know. I personally am enjoying this season and the network does require the show to make a certain number of stand alone episodes each season (it’s like this for most fantasy/horror genre shows on television) and the showrunners always load those onto the first half of the season for the most part so you know you’ll get more storyarc over the second half of the season. I’ll admit that the one thing I’m not crazy about is the Sam/Amelia storyline but I do think it will be resolved before too long and possibly with a new twist. I hate when people jump to conclusions about the show. It always turns into fingerpointing and Sam vs. Dean, anti-Cas, anti-any reoccuring character, anti-story arc vs. pro story arc. Ugh.
Arrow is awosome.
@Caroline that doesn’t rhyme.
@CBSViewer
I see now that’s been intentional, but still. Not much fun.
I guess I’ll throw in my two cents, though I haven’t really read this thread yet.
Season six flashbacks were awesome and action filled. Season four when Sam flashbacked to Ruby was awesome and smokin’ hot. But this season, Sam is holding back too much. He’s like a wounded animal hiding under a chair and his passion seems almost all gone.
I want Sam and Dean to have a happy ending, preferably with girlfriends… but Sam and Ameila obviously aren’t destined to be a happy loving couple and I can’t get into the story. (Or maybe I’m just too burned from Dean/Lisa to be so easily swayed.)
Anyway I liked the episode. Castiel needs put on a suicide watch, poor baby, but it was good. I personally thought the Sam flashbacks were quite interesting this time too, even though they’re going even more soap opera with the dead husband coming back to life hehe. But darn it, if this was the Sam/Castiel interaction teased at (okay, vaguely mentioned), I’m seriously disappointed.
I want more than them standing in the same room!
@regarding ratings
It’s stupid to blame Castiel.
Restless, sorry if not.
I’m not from America.
.. And my nick is Caroline, because I’m Karolina anyway
“Comparing Arrow to Smallville is a direct violation of The Gunsmoke Rule”
@ John: Excellent scholarship. I must have been absent from class the day the Gunsmoke Rule was posted. This is yet another example of the invaluable contributions TVBTN has made to my personal growth as a television viewer.
Does anyone else want this to be Supernatural’s final season??? I like the show, but I think at this point it is getting a little old. I would like them to end it on a high note where the story is still decent rather than drag it on a few more years to the point where it isn’t good anymore.
