I don’t get why people freak out when CW’s best rated show beats out one of NBC’s worst rated shows in it’s final 13 episode season. Not a huge deal. 30 Rock, The Office, and Parks and Recreation (thought not as good as they use to be) are still WAY better than The Vampire Diaries
@Martin
It didn’t perform worse than Emily Owens… It got 0.5 for it’s premiere. 0.3 for it’s finale and 0.4 for all of its other episodes.
Carina Macenzie (Zap2it) told me on Twitter that its back soon.
I asked the same question you did.
Put Glee back on Tuesdays!Those numbers are really repectable with the heavy competition from 2 very strong scripted dramas.Both shows pull a big piece of the Glee demo.It would pull over 3.0 every Tues against Go On in that 9pm Slot this is sheer stupidity to much hype was put into X-Factor but its numbers havent been there and wont as CBS seems to own Thursdays now.they are dooming there biggest, scripted hit,by playing around with the schedule too much .Too bad,it;s writing has gotten back to season 1 levels this year and it deserves a larger audience.
@ Austin Lauran
IMHO I say using awards is nonsense, though the “Critics Love It” square may apply here. In the case of TGW, money is involved which makes the plot thicken.
Looks like MAX is causing a SCANDAL in today’s comments. Cool.
The CW should move B&TB off Thursdays (probably to Tuesday) and use the slot to launch Cult. TSC got a 0.6 for the finale in Spring and got cancelled last year, so I doubt it has much chance.
Why CW shows were adjusted down a LOT?
These ratings make no sense in their adjustments. Thursday night football starts at 8 PM.
Thursday
VD has 1.5/4 3.2M
Friday
VD has 1.4/4 2.86M
The delta is -.1/0 and -.34M, for a 6.6%/0% drop and 10.6% drop
————————————————————————–
Thursday
BatB has .8/2 2.15M
Friday
BatB has .6/1 1.52M
The delta is -.2/1 and -.63M, for a 25%/50% drop and 29.3% drop
Sorry, but something just looks awfully fishy to me here about the adjustments.
how do you get rid of max really hes annoying
@Aciel
Unless he starts swearing a people, he won’t be gone any time soon.
@Jamie ugh really i dont if i could take it anymore with him i meann come on what is his problem with revenge
@Jamie – Still don’t think they will though, it performs worse on average, Emily Owens at least hasn’t dropped below 1 million, and it was on in summer with less competition, so would probably be lower, can’t wait to see what they do though. Do think the rest of the schedule i did is right though. Unless, they go and do something risky and move Supernatural to Thursdays and put Cult after Arrow instead, don’t think so though.
Can’t wait to see their midseason schedule.
Also, just wondering, does anyone think that if CBS moved TBBT, which they will not do EVER, that it would be higher rated on Mondays at 9pm.
@aciel
He thinks the ratings don’t justify the promotion. Which I could take… But then he says the same about American Horror Story… Which is the second highest-rated show on FX and he says it should be canceled. So he’s just a troll. Best to ignore.
Kudos to Scandal for not getting adjusted down, a rare event.
@jamie
he really has no life i mean come on this has been going on since scandal started
Also, for the record, i love both Scandal and Revenge, loved Revenge since day one, and lovin Scandal this season, if Scandal was put out on its own, would probably do worse than now, maybe not by much and certainly better than Private Practice did on its own the past season and a bit. And Revenge will probably go up, the flashback eps, although highly entertaining, don’t seem as must see for lots of people. Ashley the prostitute, how satisfying for some reason.
All of this my opinion of course, everyone is entitled to their opinions, mightn’t agree with them but they are entitled to them.
BBT is unstoppable, and last night’s episode was hilarious!!
@Martin
She’s said they ARE. And viewing figures don’t matter to a networks bottom line. It averaged higher Adults 18-49 in the summer and is a reality show, so it’s cheap. They probably just want to see if it’ll do better in-season, which i completely doubt.
I also doubt they’ll move BATB to Fridays this season.
And I think BBT used to be on Mondays.
Too bad Beauty and the Beast adjusted down. I’ve been on the fence about the show (though still watching), but last night’s ep was one of the best so far.
Scandal rocks!!!! Steady Go Scandal
Rehashing the whole TSC controversy won’t accomplish anything. I thought TSC had growth potential, Pedowitz apparently thought otherwise. The pertinent question is whether the CW is going to take itself seriously and schedule a new show that will work in the 9 PM Thursday slot. Like it or not, B&B isn’t that show. It was obvious from the previews that this show was dead air. In contrast, Arrow looked good and got better. (It may actually be underrated by virtue of being on the CW.) I didn’t appreciate the CW dumping TSC just to fill that hour with a guaranteed loser. And I certainly won’t appreciate it if that low rated loser stays on its schedule. Boycotting the CW is superfluous when there’s nothing there to watch anyway. It looks like viewers may have been spared another excruciating round of the LA Complex. So, I hope the CW finally gets back on track, eliminates its lowest rated shows and gets back into the entertainment business.
