via press note:

In late-night metered-market households Friday night:

Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2012 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Still not yet, but I just really want to know many midseason premieres as i’m quite excited for a few and will probably check out quite a few of them.

Though that football would win the night!

You just as bad as Nikita fanboys. Please do us a favor and don’t act like a victim. All cw fans are awful. They always hijack the comment section. Haters are just as bad or even worse. The comment are plain immature.

Nikita is most likely will be renewed. Cw can sell to TNT etc and pair it with supernatural, charmed, smallville etc. Except for arrow all of new cw shows are flops. Cw doesn’t have that many choices. No new shows will do well on Fridays. Why not leave Nikita on Fridays

Looks like pretty good ratings for Last Man Standing & Malibu Country. I tried out Malibu for the first time. Turns out it’s almost identical to her other show Reba. I think both Tim Allen & Reba are just very likable stars who can coast on that without having to stretch too much on acting. I can see ABC having a full season with them in this time slot.

    @Crim TV

I’m not worried at all they can promote stuff during the holiday season through December to get viewers excited in what new shows premiere in January and beyond but has any of the Uk broadcasters picked up any of the new shows yet

  • CBSviewer

CBS lineup will be ajusted up.

^Says all CW fans are awful, then proceeds to comment on Nikita. We’ve got another bright one here.

  • JJA

This meme that Nikita fans are attacking other shows has got to stop. It is total BS!!

Also, why do you assume Nikita fans only watch Nikita? I bet you that most Nikita fans watch Arrow and/or Supernatural too. They would not be attacking those shows.

Anyway, last night’s episode was really good. Low ratings or not, Nikita has been pumping out good episodes this season.

Also, regarding the ratings, HOD and 90210 scored a .5, while Gossip Girl scored a .4 this week. By comparison, Nikita is doing fine.

  • Barbie

Shark Tank isn’t a scripted show. You can’t really compare it to the normal ratings.

  • Felipe

^ Exactly. Besides Nikita, I watch all the CW shows less Beauty and the Beast (i could only watch the pilot), Emily Owens and 90210.

  • Mace

    LOLOLOLOL at the headline

still at 0.4, for Nikita. Season high ha. It really has low standard. It couldnt even beat the cancelled emily owens MD!!.

Ah this crap (not the show but this move of doing repeats on another day) is only going to drag Arrow down.

This meme that Nikita fans are attacking other shows has got to stop. It is total BS!!

I don’t know, I just went through this entire thread and saw people comment on Arrow’s repeat doing poorer than Nikita (accompanied by ” suck it haters!”) and one poster comparing Supernatural to TSC for no apparent reason. Perhaps they aren’t all Nikita fans but the claim isn’t total BS.

  • A.

    Yay Nikita!

  • bluejoni

So much discussion about the CW a not even third rate crappy station that hardly anyone even watches, except for a few here !!!

  • Ardnaskela

Nikita has 3 season now, Emily Owens has been canceled, because it has low ratings, but which season is it? First, right?
    Don’t compare these two shows.
And what the hell you have to Arrow??
In my opinion one of the best CW’s shows, for now :).

  • Ardnaskela

And I can tell I am Nikita and Arow’s fan and I don’t attack other shows.
Maybe some people attack, but not only that who are fans of Nikita.

  • alexjones

nice to see you back, bondoel.

  • JR35

ABC aired “Shark Tank” on Tuesdays for a month back in fall 2009- not sure of the demo performance off-hand, but it scored between 5.15-5.92 million viewers. Now that it’s a stronger performer in the demo, maybe it will fare better in that slot. Then again, it’s December.

The Dateline last night was about a murder case from my city. I live in Columbia, MO. It’s a follow up episode to one that aired two summers ago. The man convicted of the murder was my brother in laws roommate at the time of arrest and friends with a lot of people I know. We know he is innocent and continue to fight to get him released.

  • herpderp

As usual, the delusional Nikita fanboys act like they’re the victims.
