   No cable news shows made the list.

   Jon Stewart & Colbert must of been repeats or not on. They didn’t make the list either.

   As the deadline gets closer for the fiscal cliff deal i expect a couple shows to make the list.

   Buckwild, Duck Dynasty, Moonshiners, Swamp People..etc Who says it don’t pay to be a hillbilly.

   The comments on the trailer page has folks who are really mad. How dare they stereotype WV this way.

   I read an article that says Nobama wants to go off the fiscal cliff. He wants to raise everybody’s taxes, but is scared to say it. So if no deal is reached he can blame the House Republicans & get his across the board tax increases.

   I don’t know if i buy that, but I’ll bet if it does happen he won’t get to spend the extra cash. The House will be really mad & no knew spending will get passed.

   If they go off the cliff they can just vote to reinstate the tax cuts(for 98% or 100%) on Jan 2. My guess is you read that on some right wing blog. The only way Obama won’t sign the tax cuts for the bottom 98% is if the Republicans don’t put that offer in

   2 years ago when they played chicken about all or none the republicans lost, this time I don’t think holding 98% of the people hostage so they can get the tax cuts for 2% will work

   In all honesty the Bush tax cuts are ridiculous. When you go to war you increase taxes, not decrease them

   As soon as a little glimmer of ratings return to normal at Fox, the kids come back to the playground to play on their jungle gyms.

    IRS aims to clarify investment income tax under healthcare law

    WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Internal Revenue Service has released new rules for investment income taxes on capital gains and dividends earned by high-income individuals that passed Congress as part of the 2010 healthcare reform law.

    The 3.8 percent surtax on investment income, meant to help pay for healthcare, goes into effect in 2013. It is the first surtax to be applied to capital gains and dividend income.

    The tax affects only individuals with more than $200,000 in modified adjusted gross income (MAGI), and married couples filing jointly with more than $250,000 of MAGI.

    The tax applies to a broad range of investment securities ranging from stocks and bonds to commodity securities and specialized derivatives.

    The 159 pages of rules spell out when the tax applies to trusts and annuities, as well as to individual securities traders.

    Well I have written the LAST (and large) check to the NOW ex-wife! It is official I an divorced!
    So I am thinking that I will just give the rest of my money to m kids and apply for welfare, food stamps, assisted housing, you know the full montey! After all a lot of the people that I see paying with food stamps have better cell phones than me, a newer and nicer vehicle than me, nicer looking clothes than me, and by what I see going into their grocery bag on my nickle, they eat better than me!
    Time for me to get back a little of the “fair share”!!

    A Lebanonese website tayyar.org claims to have reproduced an Agence France Presse (AFP) account of the Benghazi attack. The tayyar.org article included comments stating that Ambassador Stevens had been sodomized and killed by gunmen and his body dragged through the streets. Also on tayyor.org was a photo of a Libyan man carrying the battered body of Stevens over his shoulder, looking just as likely that the Libyan was helping Stevens as anything else. AFP responded to this report on tayyar.org claiming that tayyor.org mischaracterized the information provided by AFP, and soon after, tayyar.org removed the article from the website. CNN later aired a video showing Libyans digging through the rubble of the consulate, finding Stevens still alive and shouting ‘God is Great’ in Arabic (Allah Ahkbar). Medical reports say that Stevens died in a Libyan hospital from smoke inhalation and was alive on arrival. The autopsy reports are sealed. There are unconfirmed reports from some Libyan officials who say they fear that Stevens may have been sodomized. So, the issue seems to be unresolved and still contested.

    I still lurk here now & then. Thanks for the Nashville video. It’s a nice city, that rebuilt on its own after the flood. I haven’t stayed at Opryland since it was rebuilt. It was always beautiful this time of year.

    I remember reading on several AFP news sites that Ambassador Stevens was sodomized. There is also an Arab news video on this subject.

    Every time I think of coming back , I read vitriol from mattfitz or someone like him, so I’ve gone on to greener pastures. If I don’t return , I wish a great 2013 to all the posters here.
