    I really need to stop reading the comments section of this site. So many bitter TSC and Ringer fans sucking the fun out of everything here :)

    @ Omabin

    You shouldn’t feel dumb for suggesting Malibu Country lead off the hour just because Last Man Standing is beating them by a tenth.

    It’s extremely unlikely that an 8:30 show builds on an 8:00 show – especially when there are no other half hours airing on other networks. Basically, you’re relying solely on new viewers that aren’t turning on the TV until 8:30 (or watching little watched half hour cable shows) because viewers just don’t switch from an hour show halfway through it.

    In other words, the odds are that if you switched Malibu Country and Last Man Standing, then Malibu Country would get slightly higher numbers. And with that said, I still think they should leave Last Man Standing first. Why change what ain’t broken.

    I haven’t insulted Fringe all season. ;)

    “Nikita’s continued existence is blocking something new and is dragging the network as a whole down the toilet. It would be different is it was getting decent ratings and people were rooting for it to fail … it’s already a complete and total failure (in NorAm at least) and it’s time to move on.”

    Uh Nikita’s street cred with the critics and the press is why shows like Arrow stand any chance in hell of success on CW. CW has failed Nikita at every turn. Marketing, promotion and time slot.

    Your argument is invalid.

  • Alan

    The slot move didn’t helped it a lot. The 0.4’s won’t last long.

    @Sabrina
    And this kind of entertaining nuttiness is why Bill and Robert encourage Nikita fans to rack up the hits. Uh, yeah, a brand-new show that is getting over three times the demo and audience (and better in at least audience than Nikita ever had) is being supported by Nikita’s nonexistent buzz and ratings in its third season.

    Or, you could look at it the way the network does and notice that an Arrow repeat did better in the same slot than an original Nikita episode a few weeks before. The network may (or may not) keep Nikita around for a fourth season just to get a syndication number, but they sure won’t be doing it with a smile. And the more rabid Nikita fans will continue to complain about the gift they’ve been given, instead of appreciating that at least there’s a marginal day where the show can be and the network will tolerate these kinds of ratings.

    And people wonder why Nikita gets picked on. LMAO at this hot mess of a post.

    @Greg

    Bondoel, what makes you think a 0.4 on a Friday is the same thing as a 0.5 on any other day? Not that it matters, they’re both bad ratings.

    Also, lmao at all the Nikita fanboys. Last year, they would panic if the show hit below a 0.6, now they celebrate a 0.4. Hilarious.

    James~ Even though I really don’t like NIKITA, I have decided not to bash it because I know a lot of people really do!!!!!!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you.. finally someone with a brain. good job James.

    rob~ I don’t know why you get a kick out of insulting every show. it makes you look like an idiot.

  • Mary Eliza

    Here’s hoping Nikita achieves a much deserved 0.5 demo with Friday’s mid-season finale. It’s such a good show.

  • http://tvbythenumbers.com Robert Seidman

    @CoolRanch: nope, it just makes Rob look like a guy who doesn’t like a lot of TV shows. You hurling insults at people on the other hand…

  • CoolRanchDoritos

    Ok he doesn’t like a lot of tv shows (so you say) then why open the thread & comment. makes absolutely no sense. i’ve seen worse comments than mine.

    Rob i’m so sorry for speaking my mind.

  • http://tvbythenumbers.com Robert Seidman

    @CoolRanch: for sure, I’ve seen worse comments than yours. Perhaps I should’ve said Rob looks like a guy who LOVES to hate a lot of shows. My point was I’m far more tolerant of insults hurled at shows than insults directed at specific commenters.

  • Jake

    Hey Nikita beat Arrow… No wait that was a repeat….

    @Greg “Nikita is safe now. Certainly a 0.4 on Fridays means the same thing as a 0.5 on Mondays or Tuesdays.”

    No actually what that means on any other network is that the show is cancelled!

  • Cass rowlwland

    0.4 for a one hour show is terriable how does the cw get money for production cost

  • James

    @CoolRanchDoritos

    Well lots of people hate Revenge, and that makes me very angry. So I know how it feels!!!!

  • robin

    @Sabrina

    “CW has failed Nikita at every turn. Marketing, promotion and time slot.”

    umm I think you have it the other way around nikita had the CW’s best leadin in season 1 after vampire diaries and still didn’t perform well enough, but the CW gave it a second chance and it failed even worse and even after that the CW still renewed it for a third season. so i think its’s nikita that failed the CW. and you nikita fans wonder why people hate on your show

  • Dan

    Pretty good for Nikita. It was another fantastic episode as always. The rest of the season is going to be awesome!!!

  • Hi

    Nikita season 1 had 7 1.0’s (+), one 0.6 and the others was 0.8~0.9

  • Nick

    Part of me just wants Nikita to be cancelled so all this childish bickering would stop.
