Due to the nature of live  programming the ratings for NBC (NFL Football), CBS (which was delayed 41 minutes in several major markets due to football overruns) & FOX (Football Overruns)  are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.

NBC was number one among adults 18-49 and with total viewers.

On NBC, Sunday Night Football (Eagles/Cowboys) scored a preliminary 6.6 adults 18-49 rating from 8:30-11:00PM, down from last week's 7.6  rating.

On FOX, The Cleveland Show earned 1.6, down four tenths from last week's 2.0 rating.  Bob's Burgers garnered a x from last week's 2.0adults 18-49 rating. American Dad notched a 2.0, down a tenth  from its last original's 2.1 adults 18-49 rating.

On ABC, America's Funniest Home Videos was even with last week's 1.6 adults 18-49 rating.Once Upon a Time was also even with last week's 3.1. Your predictions were a little too optimistic .Revenge garnered a 2.4, up two tenths from last week's season low 2.2 adults 18-49 rating. 666 Park Avenue notched a 1.4, also up two tenths from last week's 1.2 adults 18-49 rating.

Due to overruns,  CBS ratings are scrambled and essentially worthless until we get the finals tomorrow.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

winter is coming…. and so are the gaps between new episodes. :)

@Holly: what if I add “and Holly!” ;)

  • Douglas from Brazil

This photo above is a spoiler I haven’t watched the episode yet.

    I’m not that interesting either.

  • Ultima

60 Minutes/Amazing Race was delayed by 11 minutes, not 40+. When CBS has the doubleheader, 60 Minutes is already scheduled to start at 7:30, not 7.

    Tomato, to-mah-to.

Even if there was no delay and their primetime lineup started at 7:30pm, the ratings would still be scrambled because on the west coast, their primetime lineup starts at 7:00pm.

Robert: Joss’s Biggest Fan still believes Dollhouse is returning. Bill’s only in it for the snark. You need the rest of us to keep it real.

Glad Revenge is up, but the episode last night was not a good one.

  • RandyL

Well, all things considered, The Cleveland Show’s ratings have not been terrible this season, even at 7:30. If another season is ordered, it won’t air until January 2014. It’s possible. The cleveland show, Bob’s Burgers, and American Dad are not that far apart in ratings. But likely the lowest of the three is going to go. So, Cleveland is out.

I should add that in addition to REVENGE’s upcoming problems with ABC scheduling, it also has to deal with NBC’s upcoming DECEPTION, which looks to be a far better product than anything REVENGE has ever put out.

While I agree with you about Revenge not being worth the hype (JMO), I have to disagree about Deception. From what I’ve seen of the promo, it will be dead on arrival. It looks like a Revenge rip-off but unlike Revenge which had a great initial marketing campaign that at least tempted me to want to watch the show, the Deception promotions have been blah!

Of course the Revenge promos made me watch only to be almost immediately disappointed and not watch more than 2-1/2 episodes so maybe Deception will be the opposite and the boring promos will end up hiding a gem. Don’t know but so far I’m not hopeful.

  • The End

3.1 for Once Upon a Time? I was right, fantastic.

Looking forward to Dr Whales Brother making an appearence, his actor is quite decent.

  • Spooky

Thx for the spoiler btw –“

  • Tony ^_^

Good that “Revenge” went up a bit even though a lot of last night’s episode wasn’t that good… >_>

Poor “666 Park Avenue”… Lots of promotion and it just failed to get good ratings…

“Bob’s Burgers” and “American Dad” held up well. I thought both would be at 1.5’s… Makes me wonder if FOX chose to pre-empt their 2 highest rated shows to figure out which one to cancel (I think “The Cleveland Show” is done for…). If not, it just seemed like a really dumb scheduling decision… >_<

There are no spoilers if the episode already aired. It’s up to you to watch the show if it means so much to you.

“This photo above is a spoiler I haven’t watched the episode yet.”

“Thx for the spoiler btw –””

You are visiting a site to discuss last night’s TV shows, of course spoiling is possible!

You cannot expect Amanda to watch every show (we don’t expect she watch *any*). How could she know the photo was a spoiler?

I hope this comment meets Robert’s threshold of “allowing Bill to keep commenting”.

    That is all. ;)

Scheduling gurus: Why was The Mentalist the only CBS repeat last night?

  • jT

once upon a time will come back

  • The End

Of course it will. Season 3 was never in doubt. Some of the casting choices for future characters that they’ve done are pretty fantastic, I can’t wait to see where the back half of the show goes.

“You are visiting a site to discuss last night’s TV shows, of course spoiling is possible!”

I expect to visit a site to discuss last night tv shows “ratings” not recaps that’s why I go for other sites to read about news in the upcoming episodes.
