'60 Minutes' Makes the Top 10 for the Third Time in Five Weeks

“60 MINUTES” MAKES THE TOP 10 FOR THE THIRD TIME IN FIVE WEEKS

       60 MINUTES made Nielsen’s Top 10 List for the third time in five weeks. The broadcast drew 16.15 million viewers to land at #6 for the week.

The CBS News magazine also finished at #6 in households (10.3/15) and #10 in adults 25-54 (4.6/10), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012.

Sunday’s broadcast featured Steve Kroft’s investigation of for-profit hospital chain HMA, Anderson Cooper’s interview with North Korean defector Shin Dong-hyuk and Bob Simon’s report on two adventurers who hope to fly their solar-powered plane around the world.

CBS News Chairman Jeff Fager is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES, America’s #1 news program.
