Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

2BGs is still good ,glad 90210 is over a million and 0.5 again but thought it would be higher as it was milestone .Hope it dosent get adjusted down.

  • s0303

so everything was down except for the cw :)

why did cbs not show another tbbt repeat this week when it helped so much last week?

  • Reward

90Z10 needs to go like GG.

  • Ultima

And this is also why ABC keeps “Dancing With the Stars” around. Though its ratings are low, it does better than anything ABC places on Monday or Tuesday.

There’s a reasonable chance that The Bachelor will get better ratings than Dancing with the Stars.

    don’t get your hopes up.

    half hours

  • Mary

Of course Castle suffered from that week lead-in… even so, Castle really stands in its own, they almost doubled the viewers from EM:HE!
    With a much better lead-in, HF0 went down…
And there were so much less people watching tv comparing to last week…

  • CenterGravity

Bones is still solid, at least for a FOX drama.

    Way to go Hawai’i Five-O!

  • Grey

    @ Mon

The same could be said about “Bones.”

  • Nope

    why was everything down?

  • Ateofi

Ouch for “castle”. Abc should have aired the new episode last week, long break was bad for ratings. I also thought h50 would do better, why didn’t CBs aired another return of tbbt? It boosted the ratings last week? How come this movie on nbc had such good ratings?

  • Brian

Good shows don’t need a lead in.

  • Ultima

    why was everything down?

    It’s December.

  • Emma

Private Practice was trashed for being lead in dependent on Grey’s yet the same fans use it as an excuse for Castle. OK then.

  • Sam

So H50 didn’t even improve with Revolution gone? OUCH !

  • Gina

    Half hours for Bones?

  • bluejays

CBS need to sort their Mondays out very quickly! They could do well if they put something good in that ex-partners slot but repeats of 2BG’s or 2.5 Men aint good enough. I think they’re contemplating moving things around – they are playing around with 2bG’s repeats and timings and also TBBT repeats etc. They might make some comedy moves later this year and definitely for next year.

HFO down a tad but still on a par with Elementary and the other ten pm shows and again against big competition from NBC at ten, that no other shows have to deal with on CBS at ten.

A huge ouch for Castle but it did good with a lead in like that! ABC really need to look at their Mondays.

What amazes me is that I knew that ABC and CBS were going to get flamed on Mondays when I read last year that ABC were doing a lame ‘all stars’ DWTS and that CBS were moving their biggest Monday show to Thursday and leaving the night exposed. If I could see it was a huge and risky gamble why the hell couldn’t highly paid execs. They basically handed the night to NBC on a platter.

    @ ateofi
It wasn’t a movie, it was a Christmas specialwith one of the judges from The Voice. It was actually hilarious! And had really high ratings for such a special.

  • Sarah

I was afraid that was gonna happen to Bones because of “Joke”. :(

  • Aok

Castle always has done better with DWTS as a lead in. They had a Xmas special as competition, so I don’t put a lot of stock in this.

The Voice is sliding right into the top of the charts, BS Christmas on par w/ RVN so there may be a Voice factor at play here

Expected more from EMHO but evidently the demo disagreed, series low for Castle does not bode well for ABC

Bones down to 1.9 no cause for alarm at FOX, The Mob Doctor Christmas show (YAY) proves again it’s the best show the demo isn’t watching

APB out for the CW, then again it’s not Weds or Thurs

CBS a strong second for the night, but 8:30 only TBBT seems toscore better than 2.1/2.2
