@coffee–how long before you get denture? Eating must be a little difficult
@LetMeThink
Morning,
Yep little difficult but doing OK, I have a meat grinder and eating soft foods, but I have lost 5 lbs since Monday.
Very little pain, only took Tylenol for it. I go back in 5 weeks to make the impression after all the swelling goes away.
It sure is easier now than a few years ago when I had a couple pulled.

@Ratboy
True story, Monday morning I went and had all the rest of my top teeth pulled to get fitted for dentures soon, how painful was it? I almost fell asleep while he was working and he started laughing about it
I bet you got a reeeeal purdy mouth!!!

The tooth fairy can bring you money then the government will tax it and take it away then you can have the government buy your new teeth since you will not have any money!!
@Ratboy
The tooth fairy can bring you money then the government will tax it and take it away
Ain’t that the truth
Some states after they fail to pass anything, which I have my doubts they even want too, some states will enforce a 52% tax rate on people making 100,000 or more. Sickening. Honest truth Rats, if they raised the rates that much on me?
I WILL move to a coffee bean farm in Columbia and kiss this degrading country good-bye, well at least for a few months anyway as a protest
BBL…
School is NOW in session DING!!!
@ Coffee Steve
I am working with my accountant to see about starting to break up my holdings into smaller pieces. Now that I have paid the ex the last chunk and the divorce is final I am thinking about starting to split it up among the kids and grandkids. If I can have smaller pieces the tax burden may be less so my kids have more left when I am worm foo. It is tricky because I still have to have access just in case I need it to live down the road. It will have an overal effect on the market (very small of course) but I will have to pull a bunch of my investments to do the split and then figure out a new place to let it work fr the kids.

Lots of people are looking at this. Sad fact is that if you don’t have the kind of funds, Buffet et al have–you will drown in the taxes—the really, really really rich will still have their loop holes and will pay 15%–plus they will get all the other perks for supporting obama. It really is a sad day for our country and hard to understand why people who support this are so happy.
Well, out for the day to finish up shopping.
Reid blocks Senate vote on Obama’s deficit-reduction plan
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Wednesday offered an amendment to force a vote on President Obama’s deficit-reduction plan, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was having none of it.
“Last week [Treasury] Secretary [Timothy] Geithner brought up a proposal that was so unserious,” McConnell said on the floor, “I would like to see if my Democratic friends would like to support it.”
McConnell suggested that the Senate vote on what he called the president’s “ridiculous” plan as an amendment to the Russian trade bill that is being considered.
Reid, however, objected to McConnell’s suggestion, saying the Russian trade bill, H.R. 6156, is about job creation, not political stunts from Republicans.
“The purpose of this bill is to protect American jobs,” Reid said. “Are we going to get serious here and legislate or is this more of the political stunts that the Republican leader is going to pull today?”
The majority leader’s objection removes the amendment from consideration.
McConnell said he wasn’t surprised Democrats didn’t want to vote on Obama’s plan, which he said raises taxes on small businesses.
“Not a single Senate Democrat has stepped forward to support it, and if you look at it you can see why,” McConnell said. “It increases taxes.”
Obama’s plan, released last week, calls for $1.6 trillion in tax increases and $400 billion in cuts to entitlement programs, plus a new $50 billion stimulus plan. Democrats want to raise taxes on those making more than $250,000 a year. The plan would also allow the president to raise the debt ceiling without action from Congress, something lawmakers heavily oppose.
McConnell added that he’d be happy to have a stand-alone vote on the president’s plan rather than attaching it to legislation as an amendment.
But the dems are gonna do this
Online sales tax to be added to defense authorization bill
This may be the last Christmas of online shopping without paying sales tax.
A proposed online sales tax has been offered as an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act, much to the ire of opponents.
@Ratboy & LetMeThink
Wise choice on the breaking your holdings to smaller tax rates Rats, and I Hope everyone stocked up on canned corn, a single can of Green Giant corn at Kroger shot up to $1.79 a can.
It is anticipated that Canned Corn will hit anywhere from 2.75-3.15 per can early next year, as well as anything, and I mean ANYTHING that uses a corn by-product, ethanol is the biggest user so Gas my friends will hit at least 4 per and rise soon.
morning

Kinda funny how this happens AFTER the election hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
U.S. Unadjusted Unemployment Shoots Back Up
WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. unemployment, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, was 7.8% for the month of November, up significantly from 7.0% for October. Gallup’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 8.3%, nearly a one-point increase over October’s rate.

Ratboy seems like he’s about to go off to the looney bin. Don’t forget Ratboy, Fox News viewers were/are the most uninformed on the important issues. FACT.

Post the whole story. I JUST read this same article 15 minutes ago. They give the reasons it went up. But keep making up your delusional conspiracy theories as to why it went back up so your hatred for Obama can keep going.
