"ELEMENTARY" POSTS THURSDAY'S LARGEST LIVE PLUS THREE-DAY LIFT IN VIEWERS
Television's #1 New Series Adds +3.06 Million Viewers
CBS's ELEMENTARY posted the largest live plus three-day viewer lift on Thursday, the night with the most recorded and played-back primetime programs, according to Nielsen live plus three-day ratings for Nov. 29.
ELEMENTARY, the season's #1 new series, added +3.06m viewers (13.52m from 10.46m), +1.3 rating points in adults 25-54 (4.3 from 3.0) and +1.0 in adults 18-49 (3.2 from 2.2) live plus three-day lift from live plus same day.
Also on Thursday, with live plus three-day playback, The Big Bang Theory delivered more than 20 million viewers for the third consecutive broadcast.
The Big Bang Theory added +3.04m viewers (20.29m from 17.25m), +1.7 rating points in adults 25-54 (8.8 from 7.1) and +1.5 in adults 18-49 (7.0 from 5.5) live plus three-day lift from live plus same day. The Big Bang Theory posted the night's largest live plus three-day lift in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

I love Elementary but how is it TV’s #1 new series, when Revolution is the highest 18-49 new show and Vegas is the highest new show in terms of total viewers right?

CBS always uses total viewers when making those claims.. CBS always says it is the “Most Watched Network”. It doesn’t say it is the “Most Watched Network according to a subset demographic”
It is not all that special, the DvR numbers of the prior episodes of Elementary were higher. One ratings point in the 18-49 is not even something worth to mention. Nonsense PR
Why CBS gave this show a post Super Bowl slot is beyond me.
Elementary has been my favorite of all the new shows. Great chemistry! Can’t wait to see whats in store for its future.

Show runners and network executives should take notice.
Have found the show very entertaining even though I usually find over-bearing know-it-alls boring, especially when he should have known turtles (tonights show) require at the least Romaine lettuce which is full of nutrients required for life unlike iceberg lettuce which is nothing more than water. Hopefully the research dept. will do more homework so that Sherlock will survive and these mistakes don’t distract me from an otherwise very entertaining show!
