   SOA was horrible last night. Sutter has written so many twists into this show that I don’t even believe he knows what is going on anymore. It in no way resembles the SOA I became a fan of. It feels like he just writes for shock and awe moments now, not for the story to evolve. Sad because his shock and awe scenarios have more WTF moments than awe.

   @ Victor Hugo. I just dont think people realize R&I is on in the winter since it is a summer show. I think it will be fine. It is one of TNTs highest rated shows.

   Crap, I forgot to watch the 2 new storage Wars last night. I think, though, there’s a good chance they may repeat it eventually.

   I think R & I had basically the same numbers lasy year in the winter months but then this past summer the ratings were up frpm winter 2011.

   Haven’t watched storage wars or pawn stars since I was told that its pretty much rigged – fake auctions and fake items to pawn. items brought in the add interest to the show. Big disappointment – person I know had a client that worked on the shows – that was that

    Everything you see on tv is fake or rigged. Hence why I hate melodramatic stuff which play with people’s emotions. If only I could say the things that I know about the tv entertainers of my small, insignificant country… In a nutshell, everybody lies…

    And Jesus f*****g Christ, even on Tuesday there is Duck Dynasty?

    People know that there are cable shows in the winter. TNT, like many other cable channels, have been doing this for several years now.
    I think that people just consider them fluff summer shows which can’t obviously compete with increased competition.

    Give them strong shows and they will flock to it. In the era of SOA and TWD I think the cable excuse is bogus.

    Then for reasons unknown to me viewers flock to Duck Dynasty too…

    it’s getting the same numbers it was getting during the winter run. And being a show watched by many males, it’s getting crushed by the SOA competition in the same hour.

    Forgot to add: I give you that TNT scheduling obviously didn’t help. When you put ONE original series in the midst of all reruns you certainly aren’t helping it. They should organize their schedule better, but hey, it’s TNT we are talking about.

    They are doing a much better job with their post Christmas shows. At least they are a bunch spread over a few months. They can also help each other since more people are watching the channel.

    LPBW Wedding Farm is a great show. Really hope TLC renews it for a 2nd Season. Don’t know what the ratings guidelines for a renewal by TLC are, but the show is averaging over a million + viewers per episode. Any thoughts?

    I can kind of agree with you, although I wouldn’t in anyway call the final ‘horrible’…The show is going off in so many directions that it has become in some ways like a bad daytime soap. And WTF are they doing with ex-Marshal Lee Toric (played by Donal Logue) character, he had like two-minutes of screen time last night???

    Both Leverage and its lead-in, Rizzoli & Isles (which did very well) were original series airings.

    While in part I agree with you and that’s maybe the reason why I always lose interest in shows after 5-6 seasons, there is no denying that it’s still an unique show. This tells more about the suckiness of the other shows in general than SOA itself.

    R&I was pretty good. Still waiting for the leads to “L” up…

    Leverage went all “Inception” which was kind of derivative, but still cool. Beth Reisgraf was the standout in this week’s episode.

    The problem is there seems to be a minimum of overall story arc in this season. They’re been almost totally procedural this season whereas in previous seasons there was usually some multiple episode story arcs and an overall arc which leads in to the finale.

    Well, it doesn’t change much. What I meant is that there is only one night of originals in the midst of a rerun schedule which has been going on for months. Add to that the fact that they are not even having a full season unlike the other TNT winter-spring shows, obviously this doesn’t entice the audience commitment.
